Responsibilities
Being a Senior Systems engineer in GOOGLE, need to support a broad range of applications
which googlers will use on daily basis.
To work accordingly to the guts (GOOGLE Unified Ticketing) system and to maintain
SLA
Trouble shooting windows , linux as well as mac machines.
Application support like eclipse, blaze, srcfs on linux machines which can used by

Migration support for blackberry users (from BES to GBES)
Trouble shooting VPN issues based on error codes
Configuring and trouble shooting wireless on windows, mac OSX 10.4 tiger and OSX

Account creations and password managements for Ipass logins
Basic trouble shooting, escalating ubiquity instance, Gmail and You tube issues
depending on severity of the error/issue
Corp hosting linux machines
Giving the KT (Knowledge Transfer) Technical document for the entire team using the

Preparing the Weekly team meeting agenda.

Responsibilities
Providing 24/7 on-call support to entire Brigade network infrastructure ,where we the
team are the primary contact for any network issues viz; network outages, loss in network
connectivity,devices malfunctioning, change requests , tickets creation for major issues
e.t.c
Taking care of day-to-day network related issues for employees across the globe and
striving for giving uninterrupted network services
Day to day work assignments by creating a Change Request with Network managers like
ISP or MPLS circuit migration,device setups at the site
Configuring Routing protocols,authentication, IPSEC tunnels configuration when changed
are scheduled as per change requests by global network teams
Preparing the Uptime report of ISP’s in Google and presenting it to the Management
IOS Upgradation on,SUP720,SUP2 Supervisors using TFTP
Troubleshooting network issues globally like loss of connectivities and ISP fibre cuts,
power outgaes and do necessary failovers of internet traffic , in order to the users not
effecting their regular work
Installing and configuring of Windows 2003/2008 servers, maintaining servers
With regular software updates and antivirus updates.
Experienced in maintaining the Active directory and taking backup of active
directory and restoration whenever needed. Creating sites and subnets and
maintaining windows
Creating Users ,Groups, Organizational units and Applying
Group Policies to users on the server according to the requirement.
Managing File servers and applying Disk quotas on File servers for employees in the
Organization depending on the privileges of the user.
Performing backup tasks on daily, weekly and monthly basis
