Sr. High Summer Retreat
Summer retreat is another exciting time for us
to get together. This will be a great time for us
to bond as group and grow spiritually.
When: June 22nd – 25th (or June 23rd – 26th in the
case of snow days make up)
Where: Anna Prayer Counseling Center
(Frederick, MD)
Who: Every Sr. High Student
Cost: TBD
JAMA: New Awakening ‘11
JAMA stands for Jesus Awakening Movement
for America/All Nations. It is a prayer and
spiritual awakening movement based on 2
Chronicles 7:14 (and Zechariah 8:20-21) and
birthed by the prayers of a handful of Korean-
Americans who were burdened for America’s
revival. Its mission is to bring Christians
together in brokenness and prayer, awakening
them to the horror of sin, the holiness of God,
the backsliding and comfort-seeking of the
Church, the centrality of the Word, the beauty
of His grace, and the joy of a Christ-saturated
life.
JAMA is going to be a great conference for our
Sr. High students, especially those who want
to step up as student leaders in OMEGA
ministry.
When: July 6-9, 2011
Where: Pennsylvania Convention Center,
(Philadelphia, PA)
Who: Rising 9-12th Grades (Sr. High). Limited to
10 students.
Cost: Approx. $350

Peace Community
Homeless mission for Jr. High students. We will
go to Downtown DC to help a ministry called
Peace Community. We will be serving food to
the homeless everyday, and visit the mission
offices in Baltimore and Richmond.
When: July 11th – 14th
Where: Peace community, Washington DC
Who: Rising 6th-8th Grades. Limited to 15
students
Cost: $180 per student (Price Change –
was $100)

SPY ’11 (Summer Project for Youth)
SPY is Summer Project for Youth. This is an
outreach program which the students are
going to participate in repairing
houses/churches, have fun, and have
fellowship with youth students from other
United Methodist churches.
When: July 16th-22nd
Where: Christiansburg, VA
Who: Rising 9th-12th Grades. Limited to 15
students
Cost: $350 per student
Mexico Mission
Mission team to our Nathaniel Mission center,
Yucatan, MX. We will join the adult mission
team to support the medical mission and run a
VBS.
When: July 11th – 22rd (Date Change – was
July 12-23)
Where: Nathaniel Mission Center, Yucatan, MX
Who: Rising 10th-12th Grades who have been to a
local mission
Cost: Approximately $700
Registration is due 04/17/11, please
complete the reg. form & turn in $200 non-
refundable deposit.
Harvest of Hope
Hunger awareness mission. We will be
gleaning tons of corns and cucumbers for
the local food banks. It will be a time to
show off your physical strength and use it
for the glory of God.

Where: Camp Alta Mons – Shawsville, VA
(south of Roanoke, VA)
Who: Rising 7 & 8th Grades Jr. High students.
Limited to 15 students
