Background
The English teaching must involve the four skills mentioned above. In fact, the three
skills: listening, speaking, and writing have only little time allotment. The evidences can be
encountered in daily English teaching, which gives much attention to teaching reading, grammar,
and vocabulary to anticipate the final written test.
The students are expected to have mastered English to communicate. Communication can
happen through written and oral form. In written communication, writing skill is needed, on the
other hand oral communication needs speaking skill. There will be found many difficulties in
learning and teaching speaking. Speaking seems a simple thing but it is quite difficult to do. It
involves many aspects like cognitive, physiological and psychomotor aspects.
