Description

The basic elements ot the QX internal gear pump Gear ring

are the pinion, the internal gear and the gear
housing. Including the drive shaft there are only Crescent
three moving parts. Pressure ranges 3 and 4 have
2 and 3 gear sets respectively Pinion
Tandem and multiple pumps mean that there are
over 1000 possible variations available. Suction zone

Description

Gear motors are dimensionally the same as the 1 - gear wheels

corresponding pumps and in operation provide
the opposite function to the pumps. 2 - gear wheels
(However it is not possible to convert a pump into
3 - casings
a motor.)
Due to the internal seal layout these motors are 4 - housing
single direction rotation and cannot be driven in
reverse. Internal leakage oil is fed internally to 5 - flange
the low pressure side. 6 - cover
10 - shaft seal

from 52 to 2095 cc/rev
Working pressures up to 315 bar

Description

Gerotor motors are slow speed/high

torque motors.
Tank area
The power element of this motor is the rotor unit,
comprising rotor, outer ring (stator) and Pressure area
7 cylinders. (BMP has 6 cylinders.)
The patented rotor profile prevents direct leakage Cylinders (7)
between the pressure chambers, resulting in
negligible internal leakage and volumetric Outer ring
efficiency.

Description

The hydraulic oil from the inlet is fed over the Distributor
distributor plate to the pistons, which execute a
power stroke. The oil pushes the pistons radially Cam ring
outwards, so that the cam cylinders attached to
the pistons press against the cam ring which is Cam cylinder
firmly attached to the motor housing, thereby
forcing the motor housing, as well as the oil Piston
distributor, to rotate.
As soon as the piston reaches the end of its power Cylinder
stroke the rotating oil distributor closes the inlet
opening and opens the outlet. The piston is then
pushed back through the cam in the cylinder and
the oil flows away through the return piping.
The change in rotational direction of the motor is
carried out by changing over the inlet flow
direction. This can also be done during operation
and without stopping.

System description

The HDS valve range represents a flexible unit

construction, the elements of which may be
combined into one valve unit as required.
The valves are available connected in parallel

System description

The L.8S valve range represents a flexible unit

construction, the elements of which, according to
requirements and application, may be combined in
one valve unit. A typical valve unit working with a
constant flow pump contains a three-way pressure
compensator directional control valves and the
required end plate. The pump may be attached to
the unit by any hydraulic connection.
With all of the directional valves in the neutral
position the three way compensator unloads total
input flow to tank at virtually no pressure drop.
When one of the directional control valves is
actuated the consumer pressure is transmitted to
the three-way pressure level via the control
channel. This maintains the pressure drop
between the pressure- and control gallery inside
the unit, so that the flow to the consumer is
always constant irrespective of load.
A simple control element permits selective
engagemant combined with a constant or LS
pump.

combine these with the required valves to build complete, compact,
functioning assemblies.

Two-stage Spool Valves

The «High-Performance Spool Valve» Principle. The main spool (2)
contains within it a small 5 mm dia. pilot spool (3). This combination of
direct and pilot actuation produces a self-regulating hydraulic amplifi-
cation of the spool actuating force, in both the offset and recentering
directions. The pressure existing at P is directed by the pilot spool to one
or other end of the main spool, thus producing a hydraulic force which
assists either the solenoid or return spring, as appropriate.
This force amplification means that the High Performance Spool Valve
is largely unaffected by Flow rate, asymmetry of flow paths, long periods
of energisation, high viscosities or very large pressure drops. It is ideally
suited to all applications which require extremely high reliability of
ON- and OFF switching. Also, in many situations an High Performance
Spool Valve can be «designed in» in place of a much larger valve.

LRS is a power-reducing DIN plug for the
ranges 15–55V DC and 100–250 V DC. At
the moment of switch-on, the full power
(max. 40 W) is applied to the valve and
shortly afterwards this is reduced to a pre-
adjusted level eg. 10 W. Modern electronic
techniques allow this to be done without the
power-drop being dissipated as heat. Uses:
power savings; limiting coil temperature
rise; permit deliberate but transient over-
current condition.

Leakfree load control valve

General description
– prevents a hydraulic actuator from running ahead of the available oil supply in the event of external driving forces
i.e. negative, or over-running loads
– takes over the load control-, load holding- and safety functions
– provides leak-free load holding in the neutral position
– for sensitive control and precision movement of actuators under load
– mounted directly on the hydraulic cylinder for the highest security against unintentional movements
– for controlling the speed of hydraulic cylinders and motors, for example on cranes, lifting platforms, etc.

Advantages of the Cindy load control valve

– absolutely zero-leakage load holding
– 420 bar working pressure with 3-fold safety
– pilot operated load-control valve and bypass check valve both combined in one axis
– Load does not accelerate in the event of a hose burst(with back pressure-independent models)
– the opening action is almost entirely independent of the load pressure (area ratio 1:113)
– above 100 bar load pressure, it controls like a compensated 2-way flow controller (patented follower principle)
– fully compensated pressure relief valve opens independently of tank- or return line back-pressure
– over-compensated models are available with various reducing stages
– outstanding fine control from optimised, low-flow control notches
– high resolution, thanks to the long control stroke
– the valve is guaranteed to close, even with a broken spring
– hardened, ground and lapped seat valve omponents ensure permanent leaktightness and long service life
– low-noise operation thanks to multiple, specially shaped notches
– very low hysteresis
– various pilot pressure ranges can be chosen
– various types of pilot-control are available
– damping properties guarantee a stable system even in sensitive applications
– additional asymmetric damping properties can be provided
– high power density
– wide choice of build types can be supplied

Leakfree (excavator) pipe rupture valve

Prevents uncontrolled movement of the cylinder if a pipe or a hose burst occurs

Nom Pmax Q nenn Q s Type Symbol

Size bar l/min l/min
Standard ESV-ST
ESV
leakfree excavator pipe rupture valve

– flanged directly into the cylinder with

an SAE flange, trouble-free original
equipping or retro-fitting
– no more preassembling thanks to fit-
ting of unions on ports A, E, L and X
– the pressure relief valve operates
B
independent of the return pressure
in port A E
16 400 200 – no need for a reservoir line with a
X
large nominal diameter
20 400 300 – the housing dimensions are identi- L
cal for both sizes of port (3/4" and
A
Flange ESV-FL 1"), which makes it easier to run the
pipework when using different types
of machine

Type: RSW and RSPR

8 400 40 Pipe rupture valve
12 400 80
– either almost leakfree closing or Z
16 400 160
slow lowering
– minimal spatial requirement thanks
Type: RS to compact design

General description:
– four functions in one cartridge: B A
holding position and no forward-slip
run out with half-load in rapid traverse
run out with full-load and full force
run in B1
– automatic rapid traverse function in
20 350 250 one cartridge
Advantages:
– all functions in one cartridge
– self controlled, no external pilot
signal need
– simple cavity
– pre-tensioning pressure for rapid
traverse
– pre-tensioning pressure for force
