REPORT ON ZONAL COUNCIL MEETING

Zonal Council meeting of Bihar & Jharkhand held on 02/02/2011. Sri Ram Kripal Yadav,
Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) attended the meeting as Chief Guest. The Chief Guest and our
General Secretary, National Council, Sri Sangam Thakur inaugurated the meeting. All Head of offices
of AIR/DD/CCW located at Patna and Joint Director, PIB also took part. President, Central Government
Employee Federation, Bihar Sri C. D. Singh graced the occasion. Apart from Unit Chairmen /
Secretaries of all units of Bihar & Jharkhand, 150 ADASA members from Bihar & Jharkhand were
participated in the meeting.

In this meeting, all the latest activities were discussed in detail. Our General Secretary has
given light on the present situation of association’s activities. He told that 9th of February, 2011 is very
important for us, since on that day, the meeting of GOM would be convened. Since, Parliamentary
Standing Committee and Committee of Joint Secretaries have given their recommendation which will
be discussed in forthcoming GOM meeting scheduled to be held on 9th of February. In view of our
General Secretary, the pay scale matter is now no more demand, but it is a proposal pending before
GOM.

In the Chief Guest address, respected MP expressed his gratitude to invite him in this meeting.
Further, he told that members of ADASA are like my family member. He assured that he would make
higher his voice in the parliament as and when required in our favour till achieving the long awaited
pending demand in the ministry.

All Heads of office and Joint Director (PIB) voiced their good wishes for the execution of pay
parity demand. President, Central Government Employee Federation, Bihar Sri C. D. Singh supported
our demand and informed strongly that Central Government Employee Federation will give full support
in this way.

Zonal Secretary, Rajeev Nayan Mishra put up the Zonal Council report in the meeting. Vote of
thanks has been done by the Zonal Chairman, Sri Varun Kumar Singh. Joint Secretary(Outside HQ),
Sri Birendra Thakur was also present in the meeting.

Just after the closing moments of meeting, melodic musical programme has started under the
guidance of our senior member,Sri Ashutosh Kumar Sinha, which contitued upto two hours.

Hence, this Zonal council meeting ended with grand success.
