The Missourian is a daily print newspaper with a circulation under 10,000.
• Create multimedia content about Hellbenders, a local pool and year-round fireworks stand owners
• Work in and with teams to create text, audio and video components for each story
• Wrote scripts and created feature audio pieces about deer-car collisions and family chiropractors

Project Manager/Reporter – Reynolds Journalism Institute (Columbia, Missouri) August 2010 – Present
Reynolds Journalism analyzes and improves current journalism practices through the use of technology.
• Researched current methods of using mobile journalism and interviewed industry experts

KPLR is the local CW channel. KTVI is a Fox affiliate and is Saint Louis’s largest local TV station.
• Managed website via Tribune Interactive publishing software (TONS, TIVID, Assembler)
• Took photos and maintained 15 hyper-local communities titled My Neighborhood
• Created a database of companies and outlets who gave KTVI press releases for future use
• Conducted research on puppy mills in Saint Charles and teacher’s “double-dipping” salaries
• Created and filed Sunshine Request forms for investigative reporter Chris Hayes

New Media Producer – KBIA FM (Columbia, Missouri) November 2009 – May 2010
• Maintained website via Dreamweaver, Real Producer and Adobe Creative Suite products
• Built up twitter and Facebook presence for the station
• Created KBIA People, a site to reconnect alumni who went through KBIA
