Sightability of Crescent Moon for Dhul-Qi'dah, 1428 Hijra
The Astronomical New Moon is on Friday, November 9, 2007 at 23:03 Universal Time (i.e., 6:03
pm EST, and 3:03 pm PST ). On November 10, this moon is difficult to see in South Africa, and
most of South America. It will not be visible in Central America and North America on Nov 10. It
can be seen easily in Polynesian Islands on Nov 10. On Nov 11, it will be visible in New Zealand,
Australia, Middle east, Africa, and all Americas, Insha-Allah. Sighting/nonsighting reports will be
posted here as soon as they are available.
