5 Divisions with 5 rounds of Swiss-style Championship Chess

Registration:
1. First round begins at 9:00am. Time control is game 30.
2. Entry Fee of $14.00. Registrations due no later than Wednesday March 3, 2010 4:00 pm
3. No on-site registrations will be allowed.
4. USCF membership required. Unproven membership will require an additional fee.
5. Registrations need to be emailed or hand delivered. No Faxes will be accepted.
Payment or PO must accompany registrations. Please make checks payable to Porter High School
Chess Team .
6. No changes will be allowed on tournament day. Select your division carefully.
No refunds will be honored after noon Friday March 5, 2010 .

Sections:
1. K - 1, Primary (grades K-3), Elementary (grades K- 4/5), Middle School (K-8), and High School (K-12).
2. Players may play above their division, but not below their division.

Prizes:
1. Individual trophies 1st thru 10th and medals 11th thru 20th.
2. Individual medals to all Kinder participants 21st place and beyond.
3. Team Trophies 1st thru 5th place each division.
Miscellaneous Information:
1. Participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment. (boards, pieces, pencils, clocks, etc.)
2. Food and drinks will be available for sale throughout the tournament.
3. No spectators or coaches will be allowed in the playing areas during tournament play.
4. “Swis-Sys” Program will generate parings and results. USCF rules and regulations will be followed.
