STUDENT TEXT

Summary
The recording procedure is a procedure where a
recording subscriber can alter the contents of a
recordable phrase.

Duplication refers to the process of duplicating a

recordable phrase.

The procedure required to record phrases in the

AST-DR V3 depends on whether the phrase is recordable
or fixed.

It is possible to record new speech data into recordable

phrases from a standard telephone set located anywhere
in the network.

For each recordable phrase, a recording route must be

defined.

The AST-DR V3 provides voice guidance, which guides

the recording subscriber through the rest of the recording
procedure.

There are two different recording methods.

The Announcement Recording and Programming

Support System version 3 (APSS-3) must be used for
recording fixed phrases.

Recordable phrases can be duplicated from one

announcement system to another provided that both
systems have duplication functionality.
