The spiraling "Gil sets the stage for the development of the interiors. Lines created through the cabinet fixtures demonstrate an arched design representing a simplified form of the spiral "Gil used as a unique shelf support. Selected materials reflect the rich chocolate colors contrasted with the signature use of purple and red. Sustainability is addressed in the selection of environmentally expansive materials. The terrazzo flooring incorporated the "Gil spiral in creating a circulation path through the space. The flooring is unique, composed of recycled windshields, bottles and unclaimed glass. Wall surfaces receive environmentally friendly treatments with low VOC paint, natural materials, and materials with recycled content. Chocolate can be green.
