Project 1: Route reconstruction based on Support Group concept
o Role: Developer; Team Size: 3
o Project Synopsis: In Adhoc network, there are several protocols to find
routes for data transmission. Whenever a route fails or stales, the data packet looks back for the alternative route
only by coming to the destination. This still happens in ODMRP, which consumes time and bandwidth and also
decreases network efficiency. To overcome this drawback we came up with a concept of Support Groups in
ODMRP.
Support Group is the support node that is formed around the chosen shortest path. The nodes in the chosen path
are flagged as Forwarding Group (FG) nodes and the support nodes around these routes are flagged as Support
Group (SG) nodes. When any node in the FG path fails, SG node takes the data packet to be transmitted to the
destination.

Project 2: Speak to Open

o Role: Developer; Team Size: 2
Project Synopsis: The project involved using voice commands to access any application. We used Sphinx and
TTS as tools for speech to text as recognizer (Sphinx) and text to speech (Free TTS). The most admirable feature
of this is that it is completely developed in JAVA. Hence it can easily be used in any system with any OS. Also, this
proves to be very user-friendly. Further, this can be developed in native languages.
