VI. STUDY SKILLS

The following study skills are essential in studying this course:

 Start early and use your time wisely, so that you won’t be
procrastinating. Learn to schedule everything and strictly follow it.
 Be realistic. Ask yourself: How will a small bit of procrastination affect your
stress levels, anxiety, health, and overall success?
 Think about the present moment. Avoid getting too caught up in thinking of
the past or the future nothing will happen if you continue to overthink
 Disconnect from your tech. Social media and other video games always
take up your time. Every scroll, videos, or games are likely to appear to be
a more interesting way to spend your time than reading the notes,
watching the video lecture, or answering the activities you’re trying to
finish. Limit yourself to using only the technology you need to complete
your task
 Ask for help. Asking for help when you need it is important and useful when
trying to solve problems. Ask me if there is something that you want to ask about
a particular topic not answers from your classmates.
