ASSESSMENT V

If you were in that person’s situation, how will you deal with it?

Within six weeks, you and three of your colleagues in your department will make an

important project.

After the project, you were given a Php 100,000 as prize. “How did you divide the money?”
Here is some information:

1. A has made 25% of the total project. 2. B has made 40% of the total project.

3. C has made 25% of the total project. 4. D has made 10% of the total project.

Write the amount of money that you think should be given to each:

A: Php 25,000 B: Php 25,000 C: Php 25,000 D: Php 25,000

I decided to divide the money equally, I didn’t apply the concept of Math because this is not

Math. All of us have equal money because we all worked for it. Maybe the reason why others

contribution were much greater than the rest is because they were already knowledgeable

about that work. But still, we need to divide it equally. The reward shouldn’t be measured by

ones contributions. Let us think of a more familiar scenario, in school we are always given a

group project and we’re required to participate in it and give our maximum effort. That’s how

groupings work. In the end, the teacher will give equal grades to every member based on their

group performance. We all have battles to fight, our situations are much different with one

another. What if that task was Math related? Then you’ve got this member who’s not good

with numbers, but he/she gave her best, she studied the part given to him/her. Then the one

with most contributions is actually not good in speaking at the front, but that one member

who’s slow in Math is confident in speaking. Group projects are a reminder that we all need

someone in our life. You are all asked to fill each other’s shortcomings so that you’d be able

to create a good output. Group projects rewards should be equal no matter how small or big

your act is.
