The Client

Our client, Appraiser Helper is a big player of the real estate industry.
Having vast industry exposure and experience, Appraiser Helper is reputed
for quality service. Appraiser Helper approached Radix with the need for an
application that assisted them in streamlining their office tasks. They were
aware of Radix’s solution for classified services and wanted something on
the same lines. More specifically they wanted to further develop and
customize the application to make it an efficient marketing engine.

Requirements

Appraiser Helper had fair idea of Radix’s classified services solution and
envisioned certain customizations to it to meet their business objectives.
They wanted the solution to have a vast scope of functionalities ranging from
report generation to streamlining and automating official paperwork. The
Radix team identified all the different requirements and listed them as
follows:

 Appraiser Helper wanted the solution to be user friendly but highly


effective.
 They wanted the solution to lean on their in-house database to
organize the different tasks and track them.
 They wanted the solution to allow the end users to view the status of
their orders.
 They also wanted the end users to have the ability to download the
documents developed.
 Appraiser Helper also offered a template website service which it
wanted to be integrated with the new solution.

 They wanted the solution to have the ability of generating


reports for further analysis.

Radix Approach

Since Radix already had a business-ready solution in place for the realty
sector, we had the basic framework readily available. All we could have done
was tweak the existing functionalities a little bit and deploy it at the client’s
end. But we refrained from it and started out by analyzing the client’s target
market and what they wanted to achieve with this new solution. Our team
took the pains of going through each and every client requirement and
formulating a well outlined plan to meet it. Our systematic approach paid off
and we were able to deliver a solution that furthered our client’s business
objectives and anchored their growth.

The Solution

The Radix team set out with a clear demarcation of every single client
requirement that resulted in a well articulated modular solution. Besides
being easy to use, the Radix solution also set up a good operational platform
for Appraiser Helper. As required by the client, we ensured that our solution
integrated the client’s template website service into our solution. The
different modules developed within the solution are as follows:

User Management Module

 The solution provides a standard desktop environment to all users and


ensures enforced protection against unauthorized changes.
 It further offers an additional level of user personalization.

 The module categorizes the users into Appraiser Helper


Administrator, Template Website Administrator, Appraiser Helper
Manager, Appraiser Helper Staff, Template Website Staff, and Normal
User.
 All the different users have role based access to the features of the
site.
 Some of the features commonly available to all the users defined
under the system are: managing and editing user profiles, password
protection and recovery, ID recovery, membership upgrading,
updating task status, and uploading the documents of an allocated
task.

Task Management Module

 The solution allows the admin to allocate tasks to the office members
and get updates on task status.
 The users can create new task in the system and get an instant list of
all the tasks.
 The solution also allows the users a balance of personal and team
workloads.
 The solution allows the admin an instant snapshot of individual and
overall task progress.
 The solution also helps the admin determine trends and statistics.

Order Management Solution

 The site admin can manage orders as per the client requirements and
design a workflow and create tasks for staff members using this
module.

 He can systematically run the orders as Type of Reports,


Order Entries, Appointment and Scheduling, Research of Reports, and
Updating the Client.
 The staff members can work on the same orders, and update the order
status and upload relevant documents of other information in a timely
manner.
 The site admin can view the status and report for every single order
and touch-base with Appraiser Helper for follow up.

Product/Package Module

 Products or packages are the items defined by the Appraiser Helper


and made available to the appraisers or normal users for subscription.
 The normal users or appraisers can subscribe to these items.
 The subscribed users can get additional benefits of template website,
data maintenance on Appraiserhelper.com, appointment and
scheduling, task management, staff maintenance, etc.

Bidding Module

 This module allows the site admin to set up a bidding platform for
different orders.
 The site admin can create a new bid for every new order assigned.
 He can further send this bid to the selected users or to all users of the
appraiser network.
 He can select a winner from the replies received and allocate orders
accordingly.

Appointment and Scheduling Module

 This module allows the users to manage client appointments, customer


appointments, and personnel appointments.

 The solution also allows them to schedule new appointments.


 The solution informs the user about new appointments via instant
notifications sent on mail.
 The users can also maintain a personal events calendar using this
module.

Accounting Module

 The module offers reports for online as well as offline transactions.


 The admin can also generate reports for online paid transactions,
offline transitions on yearly or monthly basis, potential inquiries,
conversion rates, etc.

Star Features

 The trendy design style coupled with simple navigation route, deliver
memorable user experience and generate substantial recall value for
the client’s end users.
 The solution has high browser compatibility with the leading web
browsers like Mozilla, Firefox, Safari etc, and allows modification of a
part of a page without having to refresh the whole page.
 The testing environment ensures that the quick updates are tested at
regular intervals at the time of development lifecycle itself instead of
final deployment.
 The solution has CSS 2.0 for collecting formatting rules and controlling
the appearance of the content of a webpage.
 The CSS also grants great flexibility for controlling precise positioning
of layout to specific fonts and styles.

The Wrap Up

This project was a chance for us to demonstrate our customization


capabilities across the length and breadth of our ready to use solutions.
However, our development efforts were aptly supported by the client
support and feedback. We worked like a cohesive unit with our client to
develop a solution that met all his business needs. We are proud of our
