 Job Description (Duties & Responsibilities)

1. As Electrical QC Inspector / Site Electrical Engineer June, 2014 - Present

(SAUDI ARAMCO projects: SDHOP – Dhahran Project & NGHP – Thuwal Project)

 Raising of Internal Request for Inspection (RFI’s) for electrical materials like conduits and
fittings, cables, panel boards etc.
 Coordinating with QC material Inspectors for Inspection of materials present in company’s
warehouse and preparing a report of it, then submitting it to the concerned Managers.
 Preparing of daily reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information received
from site and sending it to the concerned Managers & Engineers on daily basis.
 Maintaining an E-Log for Outgoing and Incoming MEP Materials from company’s
warehouse.
 Responsible for following up from the procurement dept. for the delivery of electrical
materials on site. Likewise requesting for any further site material requirements.
 Inspecting & subsequently supervising the arrangement of Materials sent to Precast Panel
Factories for Site Usage
 Coordinating with MEP & Construction Managers for Raising Material Request. & RFI’s
 Documenting and submitting all conducted work reports to client.

 Ensuring compliance of client requirement for all the site works.

 Communicating with consultants & with concerned personals for resolving on-site issues.

2. As QA/QC Electrical Inspector Dec, 2010 – June 2014

(Al-Khafji Joint Operations [KJO] project)

 Follow up of the QA/QC program in accordance to Quality Inspection, Test Plans, Pre-
commissioning / energization activities
 Generating Request for Information (RFI), Material Inspection Report (MIR) and Field
Adjustment (FAD).
 Monitoring the electrical daily construction activities, schedule & progress and then reporting
it to QA/QC & Construction Manager.
 Handling QA/QC Electrical Documentation
 Ensuring of latest and approved drawings used at site.
 Inspecting the complete Installation of Power Supply for lighting (normal & emergency) with
conduits and Cable Trays, Cable Termination & Splicing, Portable Power Plant Installation,
Diesel Power Generator Systems, Power outlets, switches and isolators.
 Supervising Installation of High voltage equipment for Switchyard, Transmission line and,
Substation. Medium and low voltage Switch gear, Circuit Breakers and MCC with controls
and relay systems.
 Testing all electrical equipment in accordance to assist in updating Operations Function
codes, standards and procedures.
 Responding to (RFI) comments given by consultant & subsequently completing the electrical
system by taking the required action.
 Reviewing Inspection Test Plans (ITP)
 Co-ordination with Consultant and Client for scheduling of Inspections on Site.
  Witnessing Pre commissioning and commissioning testing.
 Inspecting the complete installation of Lightning Protection System, Access Control System,
Earthing and CCTV System.
 Issuing punch list for outstanding works on Site.
 Compiling all check sheets, involved with pre-commissioning, commissioning and start
up achieved prior to Site hand over to the client.

 Health and Safety responsibilities

 Assuring that all electrical activities are performed safely and in accordance with the safety
guidelines & policies
 Knowledgeable of  Safety and Maintenance Procedures HSE regulations
 Providing guidance for safe work practices and personal protective equipment (PPE) used
by the company.
 Ensuring proper safety documentation of operating and maintenance instructions associated
with electrical equipment is present.
