Essay

Education has now become a key component in a person’s life. There are several stages in education
which a person has to cross in order to achieve something or just be educated. The 2 main stages are high
school and college. This essay examines how high school and colleges are similar as both of them
conduct classes and tests for their students. Despite the similarities, they differ in class size and the
responsibilities.
Firstly, high school and colleges are similar as both of them conduct classes and tests for their students
to keep track of their academic record. High school employs a number of teachers who are expert in
different subjects and are told to teach lessons to the students on every topic mentioned in the syllabus;
similarly, colleges assign homeworks to every student for their further practicing and understanding.
Next, just as high schools, colleges also conduct various tests for grading their students according to their
quality and performance in the tests.

Nevertheless, colleges are different from high schools due to its class size and the responsibilities that
the students encounter while entering them. Unlike high school, colleges conduct classes with the average
no. of students ranging from 60-65. Besides, colleges increases the no. of responsibilities which the
students encounter while entering them because they had the habit of being corrected by their teachers
and parents whenever they were stuck onto something, and they were the only ones who could guide
them in setting the right priorities.

To summarize, both high school and college conduct classes and tests for their students
although the class size and the responsibilities are not the same. However, by just speaking of
the word “education” it feels like its something that one can achieve so easily but this word
actually takes almost 20-25% of your lifespan for its completion but fills that time with so much
more which one recognizes as “the the best moments of my life”. Thus, it’s a once in a lifetime
offer to attend high school and colleges for obtaining education and become something in your
life.
