PRINTING ON AVERY®

READY INDEX® TABLE


OF CONTENTS
This is a tutorial on how to print on the
Table of Contents template (that comes with
the Avery-brand tabs for your Compliance
Binder), from Avery’s own website.
This is the Design & Print Online
webpage from Avery’s website.
Note the web address above.

To start, type the product


number for the Ready
Index® Table of Contents
Dividers (11196) here.
Once you’ve typed it in, click this.
Clicking ‘GO’ brings this up. If you have a MyAvery Account, you can sign in here.
If not, click ‘Create a free MyAvery account’ above.
The screen will
change to this.
Fill in your
information here.
Once you’ve filled in your
information, click this.
You’ll be brought to this screen.
Type in your email address and
password here, then click this.
Once you’ve logged in, you’ll see this.

You have two options: you can go with a


landscape orientation for the table of
contents, or a portrait orientation.
Today, let’s go with the
standard portrait
orientation. Click this,
then click ‘Next.’
You can go with any of the six
selections here for font design, but let’s
go with a simple design. Click this,
then click ‘Next’ on the upper right-
hand part of the screen.
From here, you can type the text
for each tab entry on the Table of
Contents.

Be sure to click ‘Edit One’ before


you type anything though.
To type the tab entry, click this,
then highlight the text.
If you want to
modify the text, To modify the next tab entry,
play around with click on any of these.

If you click this,
you can also
modify this
optional space
on the left side
of the table of
contents.

Today, we’ll just


delete this
space and
move on.
When you’re done modifying the
tab entries, click ‘Preview & Print’
on the upper right-hand side.
This is the basic
layout of the
table of contents.

This is designed
to be printed on
Avery’s Ready
Index® Table of
Contents.

Before printing
anything
however, save
the document
by clicking this.
Rename the document,
choose where to save it,
then click ‘Save.’
To print the document,
click ‘Print.’
Once you hit ‘Print,’
this pops up. Click this
to open the document.
If you’re using
Google Chrome, a
new tab opens.

Choose your printer,


load the Table of
Contents template,
then click ‘Print.’

Do note that this


checkbox must be
unchecked
(or the whole
document will be off).
