“Is Technology Limiting Creativity?

There is a common scenario overall the world nowadays that people are on their phones or laptop
and spending their time in various social media apps. They are avoiding face to face meeting,
and instead of they are chatting with each other. People stopped to go to the field to play, they
are busy with their phones to play games. Though technology was created and being advanced to
make people’s life easier than before. We are relying on technology too much that hampers our
inner creativity and make us childish in the real life.

Technology helps our life a lot like we don’t need the help of others to demonstrate our boredom.
We can simply take our phones and using social media to overcome their boredom. Nowadays,
we solve our problems by using technology. Whenever we face any problem, we can simply use
google to find the solution. Technology is a kind of guidebook in our life. Before students use
their brains to resolve their tough problems, that can make their brains sharp. But because of the
guide book, they stopped using their brains, they simply take the guide, find the question, and
copy the solution. That makes their life easier, but in the long run, it makes their life horrible
because they cannot always find solutions virtually in their lifetime. And that time of their life,
they faced a huge problem as they are not used to use their brain to solve critical tasks.
Technology makes our life easier but decreases our self-confidence. So, they don’t give them the
room to themselves to solve things.

Because of technology, day by day we can find less originality and copying is widespread
massively. People can access everything they want including their need for academics. It is not
bad to have options, but more use of that makes a student less creative. Not only that but also
technology is killing the content of everything. Like, people can convert a worse picture to the
best picture by using the editing apps, which makes the photographers less creative and
passionate, but make them focusing on editing more. Though technology has increased the
scores of bits of intelligence, it is also decreasing the point of creativity and it is declining since
1990 from when we are more into technology. It makes us lazy too.

Though if we see the whole world, we can see that creativity is not dying fully. We can see a lot
of creative work nowadays. To develop the technology, we need to imagine and use our
creativity at a high level, and people do that continuously. So, creativity is not dying, and it is
definitely not dying because of technology. Basically, technology gives us the information what
we need and information cannot hamper our creativity. Having information also can make us
more creative by analyzing and using them properly. Technology helps to nurture the creative
mind. Technology leaves us a place where we can use either our copying idea which is so much
easier, or using our imagination to make it more useful and creative. It is basically the person’s
choice that whichever way they use to find the path.

In the end, technology has both positive and negative impacts on our life. But it is definitely not
limiting our creativity, in fact, it gives us the opportunity to improve and nursing our creativity.
But the matter is how we use technology, it hampers our creativity. The ball is in the user court
to make proper use of technology and make them creative.
