Introduction
Money plays an important role in everyday life.
It is used to buy the things that you need
such as food, clothes, medicine, and
others. It is also used to pay for services.

Therefore, it is important that you


know how to count and learn the value
of money.

In the Philippines, money is called


pesos and centavos.

They are in forms of coins and bills.

Coins are made of metals and bills are made up of special kind of
paper.

In this lesson, you will know the different kinds and forms of
Philippine Money.
