Handrails and bumpers
Handrails are through-bolted at our factory, making

Schindler elevator handrails among the most secure in
the industry. Handrails are mounted 32” above the
floor, unless otherwise requested, and meet or exceed
ADA specifications. Standard handrails and bumpers
have returned ends for added safety and durability, and
set screws for access.
Bumpers are an option and, like our handrails, they

are securely through-bolted at the factory. Bumpers
are mounted 12” above the floor, unless otherwise
requested.
Handrails and bumpers are available in satin stainless

steel, satin bronze, mirror stainless steel or mirror
