District has been informed of positive eases of COVID-19 affecting staff members and students. The breakdown is as follows: one district-wide staf member, one Theresa Primary School staff ‘member, three district contracted staff members, two Calcium Primary School staff members, one Evans Mills Primary School student, five High Schoo! students and one Intermediate Schoo! student ‘As these individuals have been identified during the break period afler a recent exposure, there was no risk of jon any student in these buildings. As per our reopening plan, we will keep our community informed of all cases involving IRCSD students of staf. ‘The District has worked collaboratively with the Jefferson County Public Health asa part ofthe contact tracing process pursuant o their protocols. Though unlikely in these cases, the contact tracing process identifies anyone ‘who comes ilo close contact with someone who has COVID-19. District nursing staf or Jefferson County Public Health offciak wil communicate wth any students or staff found tobe in close contact with a positive case.
