Linking words

Linking words help you to elegantly connect ideas and sentences when you
speak or write English . it is a part of speech. Also, It is called connecting
words .we can use linking words to give examples, add information, summarize,
sequence information, give reason or result, and contrast ideas . there are two
categories of linking words : conjunction and transition.

1.liking words –Result

Function: to provide the result of what has been stated or has occurred

 As a result
 As a consequence (of)
 Therefore

2.Linking words-Emphasis

Function: to put forward a point or idea more forcefully
