We are excited about your interest in The Creative Circus!

I work closely with your Admissions Representative to ensure you have all the information you need and to assist you
through the Cost and Resources portion of your application. To expedite the process, I have included information here
regarding how to apply for financial aid. We strongly encourage you to begin this process immediately to allow you more
time for your financial planning. Once we receive your completed application, I will contact you regarding your financial
aid award and to assist you in your planning.

The DEADLINE for the completion of all financial aid documents is February 4, 2011.

Below are three steps necessary for completing the financial aid process:

Instructions for Completing Your FAFSA

Complete the 2011-12 FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Follow the necessary steps to successfully complete your
2011-12 FAFSA:

1. Apply for a PIN, which can be done at www.pin.ed.gov. It will require the completion of some identifying
information, such as home address and home e-mail address. Keep this PIN in a safe and secure place, as it will
be needed to access the information at a later time and to complete a future FAFSA. Your PIN will be e-mailed in
one to three days. If an e-mail address is not provided, your PIN will be mailed to you in seven to ten days.
2. Complete the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov. If you do not receive the FAFSA results within four weeks, please
check online at www.fafsa.ed.gov or call (800) 433-3243. If your e-mail address is provided in question 13, you
will receive an email update regarding your application in a few days. The Creative Circus will receive your
FAFSA information within 24-48 hours after completion.

Below are some helpful hints for completing the 2011-12 FAFSA:

Student Eligibility:
Item 29 When you begin the 2011-12 school year, what will be your grade level?
Grade level is either “Never attended college/ 1st year”, OR “Attended college before/ 1st year.”
The Creative Circus is not a degree-granting institution nor do we offer graduate programs.

Item 30 When you begin the 2011-12 school year, what degree or certificate will you be working on?
A certificate or diploma (occupational, technical, or education program of two or more years).

School Selection:
Item 101 Federal school code:
The school code for The Creative Circus is 016125.

Dependency Status:
Item 47 At the beginning of the 2011-12 school year, will you be working on a master’s or doctorate
program?
This answer should be NO.

**** NOTE: VERIFICATION- The U.S. Department of Education may randomly select your application to match
reported income and taxes with the I.R.S. database. Be accurate and don’t guess.
 Instructions for Completing Your Entrance Loan Counseling Session

It is a federal requirement that all Direct Loan borrowers complete an Entrance Counseling session. This may be
completed at the following link: www.mappingyourfuture.org. To begin this process, select:

1. “Student Loan Borrowers” from the top tabs.

2. On the next screen, select “Complete online student loan counseling.”

3. Select “Stafford Entrance” under Entrance counseling sessions.

4. At the bottom of the next page, select “Georgia” as the state where The Creative Circus is located.

5. Click “Continue.”

6. Finally, on the next page, select “The Creative Circus” from the Georgia list.

7. Continue to answer the questions to complete the session.

Instructions for Completing Your Master Promissory Note

Now, it is time to sign your Direct Loan Master Promissory Note. This may be completed at the following link:
www.studentloans.gov. To begin this process:

1. You will need to “Sign-In” using your PIN # under the Manage My Direct Loan section.

2. Select “Complete Master Promissory Note” to sign your MPN. You will be completing a Master Promissory
Note for the STAFFORD (Subsidized/Unsubsidized) LOANS. Please continue to follow the instructions to
sign your Master Promissory Note online.

The Office of Financial Aid will receive a confirmation 24 hours after you submit the completed session.
