Details of research work / line of work
I. Conducted practical, training, seminars, survey and demonstrations.
II. Capable to handle projects, project proposal submission, exhibitions, conference, FPO
licensing etc.
III. In one year village survey programme observed the agricultural and socio economic
conditions of villagers and suggested them the best approaches to over come the problems
related with agriculture.
IV. Standardize the method of juice extraction from an under utilized fruit Mulberry (Morus
nigra Linn.).
V. Standardized the recipe for preparation of beverages like RTS (Ready to Serve), Nectar
0
and Squash which contains 10 percent juice, 13 B TSS , 0.3 percent acidity for RTS and
0 0
20 percent juice, 13 B TSS and 0.3 percent acidity for nectar and 25 percent juice, 45 B
TSS and 1.2 percent acidity for squash.
VI. Developed the products which acceptability was recorded till five months (RTS and nectar)
and acceptability of squash was till six months.
VII. Utilized plum waste (pomace) for bio colour production to make environment pollution free
and safe.
VIII. Isolated and characterized the anthocyanins by different method out of which adsorption
method found best for isolation of bio-colour.
IX. Determined the antioxidant and antimicrobial activity of bio-colour.
X. Standardized the stability of bio-colour against light, pH, temperature.
XI. Used bio-colour in model product for its commercial application.

energy cool chambers.
