Note : a) Unless or otherwise stated the coarse aggregate shall
consist of metal 10 mm and 20 mm size (metal No.1 & 2) mixed in
equal proportion or as directed and the rates shall cover the cost of
complete work including boxing, ramming, consolidating, watering
and curing.
b) In controlled concrete the determination of the proportions of
cement ,aggregate and water to attain the required strength shall be
made with the preliminary test by designing the concrete mix.

c) All the concrete items include vibrating by Mechanical vibrator.

d) In case controlled concrete cannot be used for want of testing due

to small quantity of work M 10 may be taken as equivalent to 1:3:6

Note: 1. Wastage in cutting will not be paid for. Only steel actually
fixed in position will be paid by linear measurement including hooks
& bends. No payment will be made for binding wires, pins be made
for binding wires, pins, chairs and laps and / or welding and this
should be noted while quoting the rates.
2. In working out the rates for .R.C.C. Items and steel
reinforcement, the basic rates for steel bars per tonne are taken as
mentioned in Basic Material Master, If steel is controlled in future
the necessary adjustment between the controlled rate and the rates
stated above will have to be made.
3. Note of concretor: (b) is applicable here(controlled concrete).

standard reinforcement of 1% including centering etc. and finished
