For my understand research design is the plan research plan, structure and strategy to answering,

the research question is the actual plan, the research selected to carry out their. Overall, the

purpose of the research design is to help solve the research question and maintain control over it.

The word design means the organization of elements into a masterful piece of art. Design

conjures up an image of processes and techniques in the world of art and fashion, which are used

to express a complete idea. (Basavanthappa, 2014). Basavanthappa (2014) has stated that there

are several elements that makes a good research design. The elements are known as subjects,

variables, time, setting and investigator’s role.

Quantitative research

Quantitative research is an inquiry approach useful for trends and explaining the relationship among
variables found in the literature. I've never had similarities between the two as sociology graduate only
similar thing about them is the facts that they are both types of methods used to find research that we
can use. Furthermore, quantitative is also can be like close multiple choice questions. Primary focus is on
testing theories and hypothesis. These requires many respondents.( Winner, 2020) .Quantitative
research is about asking people for their opinions in a structured way so that we can produce hard facts
and statistics to guide us .To get reliable results, it's important to survey people in fairly large numbers
and to make sure we are representative sample of target market.Quantitave research is a form of
research that relies on the methods of natural sciences, which produces numerical data and hard facts.
It aims at establishing cause and effect relationship between two variables by using mathematical,
computational and statistical methods. The research is also known as empirical as it can be accurate and
precisely measured. Hence, quantitative research generates statistics through the use of large scale
survey research, using methods such as questionnaires or structured interviews. (Winner, 2020)

Qualitative Research.
Explores attitudes behaviours and experiences through such methods as interviews or focus groups.
Qualitative research is used to gain in -dept. understanding of human behaviour, experiences
attitudes,intentions,and motivations, on the basis of observation interpretation ,to find out the way
people think and feel. It is a form of research in which the researcher gives more weight to the views of
the participants. For example like, case study, grounded theory historical and is on
phenomenology.Qualitatives is also says as deals words and meanings .Focus is on exploring ideas and
formulating theories. (Winner, 2020)These requires exploring ideas and formulating theories. Requires
few respondents. Despite all of this qualitative research is also know as data collection methods include
interviews, focus groups case studies and literature review. Data analysis methods include thematic
analysis.

In my reading from book Nursing research and statistics Basavanthappa (2014), differentiate
between quantitative and qualitative research design is, in research belief quantitative is. In qualitative
the objective expression of reality as perceived by the participant and shared with the research. In
research activities in quantitative, questionnaires and measurement devices are preferably administered
in one setting by an unbiased individual to control extraneous variables and primarily deductive analysis
is used in generating a numerical summary that allow the research to reject or accept the null
hypothesis. While in research activities in qualitative, research conduct the interview and participant or
non-participant observation in environments, where participant usually spend their time and primarily
inductive analysis is used leading narrative summary, which synthesizes participant information, creating
a description of human experience. For aim quantitative research is to identify and count the variables,
to test or refine the theories and hypotheses and for qualitative is to collect completed, detailed
description of variable to develop theories and assumptions. (Basavanthappa, 2014).

After reading the articles, differentiate the features of the research approaches utilized within these
