This vacancy is open for local recruitment for Sudanese nationals only.

Duties and Responsibilities


Under the supervision of Field Technology Services (FTS) Telecommunications Supervisor, the
incumbent will be responsible for but not limited to, the following functions including programming,
install and maintenance of radio equipment:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and operation of all types of electronic equipment especially
communication equipment, including mobile, portable, and fixed VHF/UHF radios.
• Installation of Motorola handheld radios and antennae.
• Installation of Motorola mobile radios and antennae.
• Installation of HF radios for voice and data and associated antennae.
• Install new products and test them to ensure they are working correctly.
• Perform maintenance and provide customer support.
• Assist in rigging activities, removal, assembling, excavation, filling and levelling of tower basement
and anchor foundations as well as securing them.
• Conduct repair and maintenance of UPS and MW links.
• Assist in Infrastructure work both for voice and data.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE


• Education: Completion of secondary school education is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the IT Field is required.
• Language: Fluency in English, both understanding and oral, is required
