Data Gathering Instrument

To generate the data needed in this study, the researchers distributed online survey
questionnaires to the chosen respondent of Christian Colleges of Southeast Asia. The instrument was
prepared and completed based from the variables incorporated in the conceptual framework. It consists
of three parts. The first part is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age, sex, course
and year level. The second part is the adapted questionnaires and are scaled from previous authors
which have acceptable Cronbach’s alpha values, which includes the following:

Sources of Information used to obtain formation about Coronavirus-19 Scale

An information Source is a source of information for somebody. The Sources of Information measure is
adapted from information overload proposed by Whenlan (2020) which influence the purchasing
behavior of every individual amid pandemic. These consist of 5 criteria: Online newspapers, internet
searches and websites, social media, email, and Government websites. The scale also utilized five-point
Likert scaling. The reliability of questionnaire through Cronbach alpha is 0.92.

Below is the mean ranges and descriptive interpretation of the Sources of Information used to obtain
information about Coronavirus-19 Scale:
