Re: Compliance with the Declaration of Use Agreement

Dear Mayor Coniglio and Town Council Members:

As you may know, President Trump has changed his legal residence to Mar a Lago and is planning
to move into the Club in January 2021. Per the Use Agreement of 1993, Mar a Lago is a social
club, and no one may reside on the property.

The significant tax breaks the President received for this arrangement remain in effect, as does the
Use Agreement. Some press reports indicate that renovation has already commenced at Mar a
Lago in order to make the family quarters more commodious for full-time residency.

Please note that the Use Agreement says Members may only stay at the Club for three visits each
year. No single visit may exceed seven days, and the maximum number of days any Member may
stay at the Club in a given year is twenty-one.

As everyone knows, President Trump is already in violation of the Use Agreement by using Mar
a Lago in excess of the allotted time. This violation (as well as others on record) will continue
without Town intervention.

The security concerns remain of paramount importance, including issues associated with a
microwave fence which is known to cause permanent brain trauma and other debilitating injuries.
My client exhibits symptoms of exposure.

Another critical issue is the significant devaluation of neighboring properties due to the Use
Agreement violations. It is the Town Council's responsibility to right these wrongs and restore
safety and security to the neighborhood by upholding its Use Agreement.

In order to avoid an embarrassing situation for everyone and to give the President time to make
other living arrangements in the area, we trust you will work with his team to remind them of the
Use Agreement parameters. Palm Beach has many lovely estates for sale and surely he can find
one which meets his needs.

Finally, as you know, each year, the Mar a Lago Club is required to self-report its compliance with
the 1993 Use Agreement which is to be signed by an independent entity. In January 2020, the
Club submitted a compliance affidavit, covering the year of 2019 - although it was signed by an
employee and not an independent entity. Please ask Mar a Lago Club to provide the 2020
compliance affidavit which must be signed by an independent entity.
