1. Introduction

This section contains general statements about the topic to be covered and background. The topic
is the subject of discussion. The requirements for selecting a topic include attracting the author's
interest, being known and mastered by the author, being quite narrow and limited, and not being
too new or controversial.

2. Content paragraph

The content section contains a description of the statement presented in the introductory
paragraph. The content paragraph also discusses the topics or subtopics that have been stated in
the thesis. The techniques for writing body paragraphs include:

provide examples or illustrations,

chronologically describe an event,

define related terms,

compare or contrast,

analyze or look for cause and effect,

describe the consequences or consequences,

implementing how it works or functions, and

describes the physical or character of the person, place, object, or action in question.

3. Closing paragraph

This paragraph contains a summary or a summary of the important things that have been stated.
The closing elements of the essay are conclusions, suggestions, and bibliography or references.
Things that need to be considered in writing conclusions are:

do not repeat the description contained in the analysis results section

do not include anything new that requires further review

do not include part of the theoretical framework.

How to make an essay

There are several things that need to be considered in writing an essay, namely as follows.

Select ideas and write an introduction (topic sentence).

After gathering ideas or facts, you need to think about how to relate these ideas or facts to the
topic. If you have defined the main idea, write an introductory sentence that can present the idea
clearly and attractively. The paragraph must contain a two-part statement, namely a general
statement and a thesis statement.

A general statement is an introduction to the essay topic and includes background information on
the topic.

The thesis statement is a controlling idea that contains the core of the topic to be discussed.

Each paragraph should focus on the topic sentence and have a logical transition that allows the
reader to understand the relationships between sentences.

Describe specific, concrete reasons and examples to be convincing.

If the supporting paragraph has been completed, determine how to conclude.

The steps that can be taken in compiling an essay are as follows.

Determine the topic and conduct research on the chosen topic.

Make a writing outline as an overview of the essay.

Search and record references related to the topic.

Come up with ideas and write an essay.

Write a conclusion based on the content of the essay.

Re-read and correct if you feel something is not right.

Compile the references used.
