O Muslims: The piety of Allah the Exalted is the best advice and the best
dress and the noblest attribute:

[Surah Ale Imraan: 102]

“O you who believe! Fear Allah (by doing all that He has ordered and by
abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared. And die
not except in a state of Islam with complete submission to Allah.”

(All) means are cut off except His means.

He Allah is the One Who is feared and He Allah is the One on Whom
hope is laid.

And the people of the earth, the whole earth, – do not, by Allah – do
not harm, do not benefit, do not disgrace and do not honour:

[Surah Muhammad: 19]

“So know (O Muhammad )‫ﷺ‬that none has the right to be worshiped but
Allah, and ask forgiveness for your sin, and also for (the sin of) the
believing men and believing women. And Allah knows well your moving
about, and your place of rest (in your homes).”
Who is it that recognizes Allah, then floats His commands or is negligent with
His prohibitions, and who is the one that exaltates Him then prefers over
Him his desires, and does not appreciate Him, becoming heedless. Allah (Glorified
is He) is worshiped, praised and loved, because He is worthy of that and it is His
right. Indeed it is what He (Glorified is He) deserves. The ability of the servants
cannot attain Him, and their intellects cannot picture Him, therefore the
creation who knows his Lord the most ‫ﷺ‬said as in the authentic
Hadeeth:

“I cannot encompass Your praise. You are as You have praised Yourself.”

(Bukhari and Muslim):

“There is no one who loves praise more than Allah” and therefore He praises
Himself.
O Muslims: Your Lord that you worship, and pray to and fast, and strive towards and
serve is a Great Lord. He has majestic and complete qualities that are beyond
description and imagination:

[Surah Israa: 111]

“And say: ‘All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has not begotten a son,
and Who has no partner in (His) dominion, nor is He low to have a protector.
And magnify Him with all the magnificence.”
There is no god but Allah, the Great. The celestial bodies praise Him
and the angels submit to Him:

[Surah Hadeed: 1-3]

“Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah, and He is the All-
Mighty, All-Wise. His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, it is He
Who gives life and causes death, and He is able to do all things. He is the
First (nothing is before Him), and the Last (nothing is after Him), the Most
High (nothing is above Him) and the Most Near (nothing is nearer than Him),
and He is the All Knower of everything.”

So Glorified is He and praised. He is the King. He has no partner, and

He is alone and has no rivals:

[Surah Qasas: 88]

“And invoke not any other god along with Allah, none has the right to be
worshiped but He. Everything will perish except His Face. His is the decision,
and to Him you (all) shall be returned.”
All critical matters are in His Hands and its returning is to Him,

established on the throne of His Kingdom. No invisible is hidden from Him in the
diameters of His Kingdom. The affairs of the servants and their needs and their deeds
ascend to Him, so He – Glorified is He – commands what He wishes, then His
command is carried out and His force overpowers.

[Surah Rahmaan: 29]

“Whosoever is in the heavens and on the earth begs of Him. Every day He has a
matter to bring forth (such as giving honour to some, disgrace to some, life to
some, death to some, etc.)!”

He forgives sins, and removes hardship, and lessens suffering, and consoles the
afflicted, and helps the weak, and enriches the poor. He gives life after death, and
makes happy and unhappy, and leads astray and guides, and He favours a nation and
forbids His favours on others, and He honours nations and disgraces others:

[Surah Hashr: 22-23]

“He is Allah, than Whom none has the right to be worshipped but He, the All-
Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is the Most Beneficent, Most Merciful.
He is Allah, than Whom none has the right to be worshipped but He, the King,
the Holy, the One free from all defects, the Giver of security, the Watcher over
His creatures, the Almighty, the Compeller, the Supreme.”
For Him is absolute Power and complete Will. He spoke to Moses directly, and
He manifested His Glory on the mount, thereby making it dust, crushed. And He is
glory be to Him above His heavens, no hidden is concealed from Him. He hears and
sees the crawl of the black ant on a solid rock on a dark night. He is not uncertain of
the voices with the different languages and various needs, and not an atom moves in
this universe except with His Permission.

[Surah Baqarah: 255]

“And with Him are the keys of the hidden (ghaib), none knows them but He. And
He knows whatever there is in (or on) the earth and in the sea; not a leaf falls,
but He knows it. There is not a grain in the darkness of the earth nor anything
fresh or dry, but is written in a Clear Record.” [Surah An’aam: 59] “Allah! None
has the right to be worshiped but He, the Ever-Living, the One Who sustains and
protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep, overtake Him. To Him
belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.”
And Ibn Kathir narrates with his chain:

that the messenger of Allah Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬said:

“so I will return and I will stand with the people. While we are standing
we will hear a loud sound from the sky, so we will be frightened. Then (a
group of) men and jinn like those on the earth will descend from the sky of
this world, until they approach the earth and the earth will light up with
their light and they will take their positions and we will say to them: Is our
Lord with You? They will say: No, but He is coming. Then from the second
heaven (a group) will descend as descended before, of angels, jinn and
men, until they approach the earth, it will light up with their light and they
will take their positions and we will say to them: Is our Lord with you? So
they will say: No, but He is coming. Then like this multitudes will descend
from every heaven. Until the Almighty – Majestic is His Majesty – will
descend, in a shade of clouds and angels. Eight (angels) will carry His
throne on that day, their feet being in the edge of the earth, and the earth
and heavens at their waists and the throne upon their shoulders. They will
be humming in their praise (of Allah) saying: Glory be to the Possessor of
the Throne and Might, Glory be to the Possessor of Kingdom and Royalty,
Glory be to the One Who causes the creation to die while He does not die,
the Praised, the Holy, Lord of the angels and Rooh (Jibraeel).”
And surely Allah (the Exalted) has mentioned that He covers the hearts
of those persistent on sins and seals them, and that He ignores them as
they forgot Him, and He disgraces them and destroys them as they have neglected
His commands. In this regard, He – Glorified is He – says in the verse of the
creations prostrating to Him:

“And whomsoever Allah disgraces, none can honour him.” [Surah Hajj: 18]

So to the extent of your fear of Allah, the creation is in awe of you, and to the
extent of your exaltation of Allah, the creation reveres you, and to the extent of your
love for Allah, the creation loves you. And verily trials are driven off by repentance,
seeking forgiveness and submitting to the commands of Allah, the One, the
Irresistible:

“And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be
successful.” [Surah Noor: 31]

May Allah bless me and you in the Great Quraan, and benefit us in what
is in it of verses and wise reminders. I say these words of mine and I seek
the forgiveness of Allah the Great for me and for you.
