Introduction:

Hello everyone, my name is Wilmer Manuel Pérez Carrillo, I am a student of the

English three subject, I am from the surgical instrumentation program, and I am
studying the seventh semester. I chose this book which is Harry Potter,
because I find it interesting, also is one of my favorite books. I am one of those
people who are naturally attracted to movies or books of mystery, suspense and
fiction, in addition the suspense and drama it generates is unmatched, making
the interest towards it story is much bigger.
I suppose that you must know at least some of those films, since they are quite
known worldwide

Explanation of the film:

So, The Harry Potter film series comprises eight films based on Harry Potter, a
series of seven junior novels written by British author J. K. Rowling and starring
the fictional wizard of the same name. These are fantasy and mystery movies.
all based on the novels of the saga and all released in the decade between
2001 and 2011. One film was made for each book in the saga except for the
last book, whose film adaptation featured two different films. The feature films
were produced by the US studio Warner Bros., which partnered with David
Heyman's production company to bring the novels to the big screen. The first
film in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, was released
worldwide at the end of 2001 and since then a new installment has been
released with a frequency of a minimum of eight months, between Harry Potter
and the Deathly Hallows: part one and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows:
part two and a maximum of two years between Harry Potter and the Order of
the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
These films basically narrate the adventures of a young wizard named Harry
Potter along with his best friends Hermione and Ron while they study high
magic and sorcery at the famous Hogwarts School.
The whole plot will go into the fight that Harry Potter must have with the evil
Lord Voldemort who was the person who murdered his parents.

Characters:
1. Harry Potter is the main protagonist and who gives title to the series.
2. Ron Weasley is Harry Potter's best friend and, along with Hermione
Granger, one of his fellow adventures.
3. Hermione Granger, together with Harry and Ron, composes the trio of
protagonists. Although in the first books his role is minority compared to
that of the two boys, from the prisoner of Azkaban the development of
her character grows and her skills are increasingly required.
 4. Lord Voldemort, the antagonist of the series, is a dark and evil wizard
who wants to dominate the wizarding world to impose his ideology based
on the prevalence of pure blood and eliminate the Muggles.

Topics:
According to the author of the saga, the main theme surrounding the heptalogy
is death. She pointed out, “My books are largely about death. They begin with
the death of Harry's parents. Then there is Voldemort's obsession with
conquering death and his quest for immortality at any cost, the goal of anyone
capable of magic. I understand why Voldemort wants to conquer death. We are
all so afraid of him”. In this way, she reflects what should be considered as the
main theme of the saga, although it has been contradicted by several critics, I
consider that it would be useless to try to contradict what she proposes, since
she more than anyone should know in what way. It is based on what she wrote
and for what purpose she did it.

Personal Opinion:
I personally consider this type of films as a hidden expression of reality, since
despite containing mostly fiction, they don’t leave aside human sentiment, pain,
hatred and in many cases revenge. And well, I think that it is not for nothing the
favorite saga of thousands of people around the world.
And for those who still don’t have the pleasure of seeing or reading them, you
should do so, surely you could find in these films that fantastic world that
captures you and falls in love with it.
