Processes Identified Evaluation Explanation

(or Processes and (positive or
activities) toxic)
Intramurals positive Intramurals are an opportunity for
students to compete against each
other in various sports. It is open
to all students. The purpose of the
intramural program is to provide
fun, safe and structured play
experiences that promote the
physical, mental and social
development of every child. By
doing this activity in school, it also
promotes good culture that
provides entertainment for
everyone and so that students will
be united as one.
Buwan ng Wika positive This activity is a positive culture in
our school. The celebration of
Buwan ng Wika is not just a part of
our history; it is also what keeps us
united as a nation. A country’s
language shows how rich and
unique its culture and heritage is.
More than being a means for
communication, language bridges
different communities and
strengthens it. Using the national
language is one the simplest way
we can show patriotism. Filipino is
what makes us Filipinos a true
Pinoy.
Acquaintance positive As tradition dictated, the Student
Party Council always holds an annual
Acquaintance Party for the
student. The aim of this activity is
to allow the students, both new
and old, to mingle and acquaint
themselves with one another
(hence the name). This allows the
students to be able to function
better, as they will become more
comfortable with working and
interacting with the people around
them. For new students, especially,
this is essential.
Kaamulan Festival positive One of the biggest activities in the
Province of Bukidnon. During this
time, there are no classes in our
school just to celebrate this. This is
a positive culture in our school
because it values the festival;
recognize the indigenous culture of
the province and most importantly
the good connection of the people
who celebrates it.
The Research and positive It helps to move forward the
Development Unit frontiers of knowledge and
(R&DU) promote reforms in education by
nurturing a culture of research in
the academe. It shall continue to
implement researches in
consonance with institutional,
regional, national and international
priorities. The Research and
Development Unit (R&D U) of the
university envisions quality,
relevant and responsive research
and development programs that
contribute to a productive
educational institution.
Extension Unit positive The Bukidnon State University
(EU) Extension Unit aims to effectively
and efficiently deliver practical,
relevant and responsive extension
programs that shall have been
adopted and utilized by the people
in the community to
enhance/improve their quality of
life.
Publication positive As a good culture in school, it is
(Sayuda) important that all members know
some information about the school.
Sayuda is the official newsletter of
Bukidnon State University
(BukSU). The Binukid term Sayuda
is inspired by Sayuda ha Batasan,
one of the five pillars of kinship in
Bukidnon indigenous
communities. Sayuda means
mutual sharing of information,
transparency and truthfulness.
Through Sayuda, BukSU intends
to share with its stakeholders in
Bukidnon and the rest of the world
its activities, processes and
accomplishments.
Policies Identified Policies Evaluation Explanation
Support positive It is a positive policy in Bukidnon
International and State University because it
Multicultural provides assistance and guidance
Student Services in understanding issues of
diversity in the college. If you are a
student in the college who
identifies as African American,
American Indian/Alaskan Native,
Asian American, Hawaiian/Pacific
Islander, Latina/o, and/ or
Multiracial, this Multicultural
Student Services are available to
help you access the opportunities
available to become your personal
and academic best. It acts as an
advocate and a resource for
students of color. It is available as a
resource person to assist students
on issues of diversity and inclusion
in the classroom and within
student organizations. It can also
give presentations on
incorporating diverse perspectives
into your work as well as on the
importance of being culturally
knowledgeable and demonstrating
cultural understanding as a global
citizen. Generally speaking,
multicultural in education is
predicated on the principle of
educational equity for all students,
regardless of culture, and it strives
to remove barriers to educational
opportunities and success for
students from different cultural
backgrounds. In practice,
educators may modify or eliminate
educational policies, programs,
materials, lessons, and
instructional practices that are
either discriminatory toward or
insufficiently inclusive of diverse
cultural perspectives. Multicultural
education also assumes that the
ways in which students learn and
think are deeply influenced by
their cultural identity and heritage,
and that to teach culturally diverse
students effectively requires
educational approaches that value
and recognize their cultural
backgrounds. In this way,
multicultural education aims to
improve the learning and success
of all students, particularly
students from cultural groups that
have been historically
underrepresented or that suffer
from lower educational
achievement and attainment.
Develop positive Innovative leadership in schools
innovative leaders helps to foster both a positive and
in extension motivating culture for staff and a
high-quality experience for
learners. Leaders at all levels in
schools can contribute to this by
developing the top skills needed
by school leaders. When diffusing
an extension, innovative leaders
multiply the efforts of the change
agent, by carrying the message to
more possible adopters. This
translates into effectiveness by
achieving more diffusion in less
time. At the social level, once
innovative leaders have adopted
an innovation in extension, that
innovation acquires local
sponsorship and credibility.
Where, leaders are heterophilous
individuals who observe and
evaluate innovations proven by
innovators. They are considered
early adopters of culturally
acceptable innovations and
generally are opponents of
culturally unacceptable ones. Once
innovative leaders approve and
adopt innovation in extension, it
influences others in the group who
also adopt the innovation to
maintain a good status guided by
good ethical values among the
social system. Leaders are
important determinants of rapid
and sustained change in culture, as
diffusion happens faster when it is
initiated by them. They are
considered the bridge between the
school and community members.
Utilize customer positive For me, it is one of the best policies
feedbacks for the in our school wherein it has
continual positive outlook of culture because
improvement of it shows an opportunity to speak
the Quality and voice out our opinion. We
Management know that language is one key
System element in a culture and all of its
members should have the ability to
interact and connect with its
members to organize and achieve
its goals. By asking for your
customers to provide you with
feedback, you're communicating
that you value their opinion, and
you care about what they have to
say. Your customers feel important
because you're treating them as
such and they feel involved in
shaping the school Quality
Management System.
