ON-LINE PRAYER SESSION
PRAYER POINTS
For Week 23rd November – 28th November 2020

Theme: “More Prayer, More Power”

Scripture: James 5:16 "... The prayer of the righteous is

powerful and effective."

Week’s Theme: Restoration & Healing

Opening words: Seasons of chaos and storms are inventible in

life. These seasons can make us feel as if all is lost and abandoned,
because the wreckage of what is left from the storm can feel
daunting and beyond repair. The beauty of Christ is that He not
only is the Lord of restoration, but He is the God of making all
things new in His time and work.

1. Prayer Point #1 ……. Praise and Thanksgiving

Scripture: Philippians 4:6
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and
supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to
God.”

2. Prayer Point #2 ……. Repentance and Restoration

Scripture: Isaiah 61:7 
“Instead of your shame, there shall be a double portion; instead of
dishonor they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land, they
shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy.” 

3. Prayer Point #3 ……. Healing and Restoration for the Sick

and Captive.
Scripture: Psalm 103: 1-5
“Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his
holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his
benefits - who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and
compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that
your youth is renewed like the eagle's.”

4. Prayer Point #4 ……. Restoration of Justice for the

Oppressed and Abused

Scripture: Jeremiah 30:17

“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares
the Lord, ‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one
cares”

5. Prayer Point #5 ……. Protection, Restoration and Victory

over Covid-19
Scripture: Isaiah 41:10.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy
God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold
thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

6. Prayer Point #6 ……. Financial Breakthrough and

Restoration of our Economies
Scripture: (Psalm 126: 1-6 – Message Bible)
“It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God restored
Zion’s exiles. We laughed, we sang, we couldn’t believe our good
fortune. We were the talk of the nations – “God was wonderful to
them!” God was wonderful to us; we were one happy people. And
now, God, do it again – bring rain to our drought stricken-lives So
those who planted their crops in despair will shout hurrahs at the
harvest, So those who went off with heavy hearts will come home
laughing, with armloads of blessing”

7. Prayer Point #7 ……. Restoration in Relationships

(Marriages, Parent/Child, Siblings, Workplace)
Scripture: Joel 2:25,26
“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the
cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great
army which I sent among you.”

8. Prayer Point #8 ……. Spiritual Restoration in our Churches

Scripture: Haggai 2: 3-5
“Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? And
how do ye see it now? Is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as
nothing? Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord; and be
strong, O Joshua… and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith
the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts…”

9. Prayer Point #9 ……. Restoration of Hope for the Future

Scripture: Job 42:10
“And the LORD restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed
for his friends. And the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had
before.”
