How to access the Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Accessing the MFP web page requires any combination of the following: 

IP address or host name of the MFP.


Username, if required. 
Password, if required. 

NOTE:  If the device is already configured with a password, the default username is MarkNet.    
To view the web page:
1. Enter the MFP's IP address into the URL field.  For example, enter http://MFP_IP_ADDRESS, where MFP_IP_ADDRESS is the IP
address of the MFP.
2. If prompted, enter the security Username and Password.

shared amongst multiple generations and multiple printer families.

As with any other tray, MP feeder selection is made via the


application unless the printer setting is configured for First.

Setting Configure MP Feeder to Manual will still require


application selection of Manual rather than MP feeder. 

You may not see MP feeder as an available tray selection


with a Manual printer Configure MP Feeder configuration.  

OK, Bin Full, or Bin Empty will be displayed when the output sensor

  Scan Profile

Scan Profile will create a temporary shortcut (profile) to capture an image (.pdf, .jpeg, .tiff formats) at a user's PC or Macintosh.  MSJVM
(MS Java Virtual Machine) or, preferably, Sun's Java plug-in is required for this purpose.

Note on presets:  - Format Type, Compression, Default Content and Color can only be modified if Custom is your Quick Setup choice.  
Other

Resolution - A minimum resolution of 75 dots per inch (dpi) increases to 300 or 600 depending on your Quick Setup
selection and other variables.

Multi-use profile - Selecting this feature retains the user name and profile name for faster configuration times.
Custom Job Scanning - This feature will enable job building or job stacking; useful when exceeding limitations of scanner auto
document feeder or when both flatbed and auto document feeder are required for a single job.
