NOTE: If the device is already configured with a password, the default username is MarkNet.
To view the web page:
1. Enter the MFP's IP address into the URL field. For example, enter http://MFP_IP_ADDRESS, where MFP_IP_ADDRESS is the IP
address of the MFP.
2. If prompted, enter the security Username and Password.
NOTE: The settings in this article are specific to a Lexmark X64xe Series MFP; however, many of the embedded web server options are
shared amongst multiple generations and multiple printer families.

IP address The IP address of the device IP address assignment is via DHCP, BOOTP, RARP or other.

Scan Profile
Scan Profile will create a temporary shortcut (profile) to capture an image (.pdf, .jpeg, .tiff formats) at a user's PC or Macintosh. MSJVM
(MS Java Virtual Machine) or, preferably, Sun's Java plug-in is required for this purpose.

Resolution - A minimum resolution of 75 dots per inch (dpi) increases to 300 or 600 depending on your Quick Setup
selection and other variables.
Multi-use profile - Selecting this feature retains the user name and profile name for faster configuration times.
Custom Job Scanning - This feature will enable job building or job stacking; useful when exceeding limitations of scanner auto
document feeder or when both flatbed and auto document feeder are required for a single job.

This page provides one-click access to most of the EWS settings introduced in this article.
Applications
This page will list any eSF (embedded Solution Framework) or LDSS (Lexmark Document Solution Service) application that has a
function or component accessible via the web interface. To see what applications are installed on the MFP, click on Configuration
(Settings) and then Embedded Solutions.
It is also recommended that you perform a product-specific search on any software issue or topic within KnowledgeBase.
