SPARK GAP ARRESTER.- Chispero.

MOV Specifications
Maximum working voltage is the maximum steady-state, DC voltage. In this case, the value of the
typical leakage current will be lesser than a specified value.
Varistor voltage
Maximum clamping voltage is obtained when a certain pulse current is applied to the component to
obtain a maximum peak voltage.
Surge current
Surge shift refers to the variation in voltage after a surge current is given.
Energy absorption refers to the maximum energy that is dissipated for a certain waveform without
many problems.
Capacitance
Leakage current
Response time
Maximum AC RMS voltage refers to the maximum amount of RMS voltage that can be delivered to the
component.
CARACTERÍSTICAS ADICIONALES
Lifetime Rated Pulse Currents (Varistor). Derated values of ITM for impulse durations exceeding that of
an 8/20μs waveshape, and for multiple pulses which may be applied over device rated lifetime.
FUSIBLES.
AMBIENT TEMPERATURE: Refers to the temperature of the air immediately surrounding the fuse
BREAKING CAPACITY: Also known as interrupting rating or short circuit rating, this is the maximum
approved current which the fuse can safely break at rated voltage
CURRENT RATING: The nominal amperage value of the fuse
VOLTAGE RATING: The voltage rating, as marked on a fuse, indicates that the fuse can be relied upon to
safely interrupt
TIME-CURRENT CURVE: The graphical presentation of the fusing characteristic, time-current curves are
generally average curves which are presented as a design aid but are not generally considered part of the
fuse specification. Time-current curves are extremely useful in defining a fuse, since fuses with the same
current rating can be represented by considerably different time-current curves.
