With this in mind, the leadership team and | have decided to begin our Thanksgiving break early, starting on Tuesday, November 17" and ending on Sunday, November 29". ‘At this time, there are several surrounding communities that have had Covid-19 outbreaks which have forced them to close school. We are not having to close, but are choosing to so we can allow limited activities to proceed safely. We will be using extreme precautions and be thorough with cleaning and sanitizing areas being used by students. These areas will have limited access. There will be no elementary or middle school activities or campus access during this extended Thanksgiving break. ‘The administrative team along with the District Educational Improvement Committee (DEIC) will meet in December to adjust the school calendar to recapture the instructional minutes we lose as required bylaw.
