How to run COB on production V.

 How to run Close of Business (COB)
Note: Before running COB we must to stop port channels of MQ server (Remote to serve
10.178.212.67) and stop service as below:

1-Before run COB : You must to stop jbase service first (jbase_agent –p 8887 on server ) this is a service
of web browser, And then please login to T24 browser for verify service jbase stop or not , If you cannot
login to T24 browser it mean service stopped. (Result: Request has time out) and then close GL on
browser (close branch process)

2-Start backup: CoreBanking (Database) , GL and NBC report system (Run script)
***Step for backup before COB has 3 steps ***
Step 1 = Backup CoreBanking system database and folder report login (Before COB) waiting
completed got to step 2
Step 2= Backup GL System database (Before COB) waiting completed go to step 3
Step 3= Backup NBC System database (Before COB) waiting completed

**After backup completed all step (1, 2, 3) please type 99 for exit scrip **

3-Check RECORD.LOCK : Verify all record.lock
3.1 -Open software Tera Term and type IP address of application server (Ex: 10.178.212.62)

And then click OK (this step for go to close RECORD.LOCK)

3.4-For this step you must to type username and password (Application Server) Example:

4-Login to T24 Application: Type command ETS and Enter type EX and Enter

4.1- Type username and Password (Personal User ID)

4.2- User command (RECORD.LOCK L) for close record.lock

-Type 1 and Enter, Type V all and push F5 for commit until completed.

- Type BK for back to jshell mod

-3- (For internal use only)

4.3 Use command (UCB.USER.LOG) in T24 this command for backup user activity in t24

4.4 User command (GET.LOG.USER.LOG) for download 14 user activity and upload to phabricator

4.5 User command (mw42 check ODS)

4.6 User command LIST F.EB.EOD.ERROR WITH DATE.RESOLVED EQ '' AND WITH FIX.REQUIRED EQ 'YES'
@ID (Check batch t24) usually it show no record if have 1 or more record t24 will error

4.7 Date resolve: Check batch Error and then give date resolve or contact to help desk T24 on skype

5-Start Run COB

5.1-Login to T24 check service TSM and COB

1-Stop service TSM in T24 mode (TS, I TSM and inter and type number 6 and inter type stop and
commit F5) , And stop service COB (TS, I COB)

Waiting 1 minute until TSA service stopped, check by command (LIST F.TSA.STATUS CURRENT.SERVICE
COMO.NAME AGENT.STATUS)

2-COUNT F.TSA.STATUS (on jshell)

3-CLEAR.FILE F.TSA.STATUS (on jshell)

4-COUNT F.TSA.STATUS (on on jshell)

5-CLEAR.FILE F.BATCH.STATUS (on jshell)

5.2-Start service TSM and COB

1- TS, I TSM and Enter (TS, I TSM and inter and type number 6 and inter type START)

2- TS, I COB and Enter (TS, I COB and inter and type number 6 and inter type START)

3- Type START.TSM (on jshell)

5.4- Type command (COB.MONITOR) and enter in T24

5.6 Waiting COB running completed and type Q and Enter

-Type commands (DATES L) and verify on date (Range TODAY and Last.Working day) this is COB finish

6-After COB finish we need to back-up again
***Step for backup After COB finish has 3 steps ***

Step 4 = Backup CoreBanking system database (After COB) waiting

Completed go to next step

Note: waiting report management & run NBC import completed before go to Step5

Step 5 = Backup GL System database (After COB)

Step 6=Backup NBC System database (After COB)

Note: 1- Start servic jbase_agent –p 8887 on 62 and 63

2- Start port channel of MQ server

3- Check GL (ENQ SYS.POS.ACCOUNT.SUMMARY)
