Danza Siciliano - “Jolla”

This is a typical Sicilian country dance that was popular in the late 1800’s. Sicilian popular dances take on
various names such as: quatrigghia, jolla, fasola, pasturale and of course tarantella. This shepherd’s dance
uses the binary form which goes from a major to minor key commonly found in the style of the “jolla”.
