Impact of Fashion Trends on teenagers

Outline of Production:

It should be shown to teenagers, not only adults to help their children or relatives or people
around the world but to show teenagers that the impact of fashion trends on their society and
social media platforms isn’t something they should be sharing or showing as an achievement.
The reason why my production should be shown is because I will show the affects, how cruel
reality is to someone diverse, to show that something like could affect a friend or someone
you know.
The fact that fashion and designers and public figures are trying to show teenagers what
“beauty” means in the wrong way, almost that one day everyone will look the same, that
beauty would just be the standard, normal person. No diverse or different looking people but
the same, proving again that beauty is about being “normal”.

Order:

Will show the effects of the fashion trends on teenagers and show a teenager going through
with it. Showing a girl changing from the aspects of social media and what she thinks the new
normal is.
It would show ideas of what teenagers would live like if the world wasn’t so caught up in
todays “beauty” and “fashion” standards.
I would include shots showing the work pressure and low self-esteem on girls, the extreme
competition and of course, the awful mental health that comes with it.
With the increasing number of suicides by designers, fashion journalists, fashion students,
models in the fashion industry and mental illnesses has become a visible problem and even
for teenagers.
Not only will It include all of this but it would include shots of the reality of It all on youth
and teenagers, the lengths they go to or the outcome of their actions which can be awful.

It is important to British Youth as it affects teenagers-girls and boys, on a daily and takes part
in their everyday life.
