View layer – lets you specify different render settings per collection.

Collections are groups.

Layers as a way of organising collections.

Scenes are all encompassing.

Under Modifier Category


Modify = they modify object data of modifier , UV’ s, normal

Generate = they generate more or less mesh

Deform = takes current geometry and deforms it into different things

Simulate = physics and simulation in blender

Order of operations matter in modifier tab
