Verification of SE & IE bus bars for securely
3 connected to a local earth point as per Grounding
scheme. SE & IE resistance should be less than 1 Ω.
Verification of signal cable laying, dressing &

termination.
Verification of Power cable laying, dressing &

termination.
Installation of Tube lights / Door switches and its
6
functional checks (As Applicable)
7 Installation of Fan assemblies & Functional check of
fans (As Applicable)
8 Verification of smooth door operation.
Verification of knife switch of both Field & MCC side
9 cable terminal block are OPEN to isolate field/MCC
from system.
Power on Check & PSU Voltage Verification.
10 As per V-2171-001-A-800 (Installation and Erection
Procedure (Site Planning Guide))
11 Verification of Cabinet alarms (As Applicable)
12 Verification of OHD Setting at 35 Deg.C
13 Input Output Loop Test (Sample check)
Digital Input: Connect Wire loop on MCC side
terminals in IRP Cabinet. Connect the Multimeter to
the relay contact terminals on the PCS/UCP side in
IRP cabinet.
Expected Result
Continuity for closed relay contact.
Digital Output: Connect 24 VDC supply to relay coil
terminals on PCS/UCP side in IRP cabinet. Connect
the Multimeter to the relay contact terminals on the
MCC side in IRP cabinet.
Expected Result
Continuity for closed relay contact.
