Table 1 shows the relationship between the height and weight of the

students. The computed value of r is 0.2839 interpreted as low positive

correlation. Using the a= 0.05 the computed value of t is 0.8734. Therefore, there

is no significant relationship between height and weight of the students.

Table 2 shows the relationship between the appliances and amount of

electric bill. The computed value of r is -0.0016 interpreted as very low negative

correlation. Using the a= 0.05 the computed value of t is -0.0045. Therefore, there

is no significant relationship between the number of appliances and amount of

electric bill.

Table 3 shows the relationship between the grades in Mathematics and

Science. The computed value of r is 0.7570 interpreted as high positive

correlation. Using the a= 0.05 the computed value of t is 3.2768. Therefore, there

is significant relationship between the grades in Mathematics and Science.

Filipino

Table 4 shows the relationship between the grades in English and Filipino.

The computed value of r is 0.9470 interpreted as very high positive correlation.

Using the a= 0.05 the computed value of t is 8.3553 Therefore, there is significant

relationship between the grades in English and Filipino.

Conclusion

Based on the findings the following conclusions are drawn:

1. There is no significant relationship between height and weight of the

students.
2. There is no significant relationship between the number of appliances and

amount of electric bill.

3. There is significant relationship between the grades in Mathematics and

Science.

4. There is significant relationship between the grades in English and

Filipino.

Recommendation

From the findings, the following were recommended in the study:

1. Height and weight of students does not have significant relationship so it

is recommended that the height and weight must be proportional to each

other.

2. It is recommended to conduct another research about the number of

appliances and number of hours they use it.

3. It is recommended to students to improve their skills in Mathematics and

Science subject.

4. It is recommended to students to improve their skills in English and

Filipino subject.
