Edelweiss Tokio Life – Cashflow Protection Plus | (A Non-Linked Participating Life Insurance Plan)
Overview:
We all wish for a regular and continuous flow of income in all stages of our life. However, most of the time achieving those over
increasing age & passage of time is not possible. With the life expectancy steadily increasing over the decades, many of us may
end up having a post-retirement life which could be almost equal to our working years. To avoid such a frightening scenario, we
must plan for our second innings of life well in advance so that we can live worry free for a life time.
Edelweiss Tokio Life - Cashflow Protection Plus enables an individual to sustain current standard of living and have a regular
taxfree flow of income till one is alive and empowers to pass on legacy to the generations to follow.

Product Description:
The Plan
• Is an individual, non-linked participating endowment insurance money back plan.
• Provides life cover till age 100.
• Provides lumpsum payout in the form of Accrued Reversionary Bonuses at the end of premium paying term or death
whichever is earlier.
• Provides regular payout in the form of Cash Bonus and Money Back, post the premium paying term till age 100 or death
whichever is earlier.
• Provides guaranteed lumpsum payout on survival till age 100.
• Provides the benefit to pay premiums for a limited period and enjoy benefits for a long term.
• Provides the option to enhance protection through a wide range of 6 Riders.
• Allows to avail tax benefits under section 80C and 10(10D) of the Income Tax Act ,1961, as per the then prevailing tax laws.
Key Benefits:
Survival Benefit
On survival of the life insured during the policy term, he/she is eligible for the below three benefits:
1. Reversionary Bonus
• Reversionary Bonus will accrue from the first policy year till the end of premium paying term and all the accrued
Reversionary Bonuses are payable in lumpsum either on death or at the end of premium paying term, whichever is
earlier.
2. Money Back
• Money back payout is equal to 5.5% of the chosen Sum Assured on Maturity (SAM*) and the payout starts one year
after the premium paying term and is paid annually on every policy anniversary till maturity or death whichever is
earlier.
*SAM is the base Sum Assured chosen by the policyholder
3. Cash Bonus
• Cash bonus payout starts one year after the premium paying term and is payable at every policy anniversary till
maturity or death whichever is earlier.
Maturity Benefit
• On survival of the life insured up to age 100, the company pays Maturity Benefit as:

Sum Assured on Terminal Bonus, 105% of the Total Annualized

# Annualized premium is the premium payable in a year by the policyholder, excluding the underwriting extra premiums and loadings for modal premiums, if any.

Death Benefit SAD will be higher of the following:


• On death of the life insured during the policy term, company pays • 11 times of the Annualized Premium
Death Benefit as: OR
• Minimum Guaranteed Sum Assured on
Maturity (SAM)
Sum Assured Accrued Reversionary
on Death (SAD) Bonus, if not paid Note: At any point of time the minimum
death benefit will be at least 105% of total
