Question 1
To format the COVID-19 Data worksheet accordingly to the instructed given the following
procedures are used:

a. Insert a new row above row 1.

For inserting a new row above row 1, it is required to select the row 1 by left-clicking on the row
number and then after selecting the row to have to do right-click. The right-click shows a popup
menu and from the menu, inset option must be chosen by left-clicking on it. A new row above
row 1 has been created.

b. Enter the text 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic in cell A1, change the font size to Times New
Roman 18 and apply bold.

Just enter the text 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic in cell A1 through a keyboard. After entering, the
instructed text has to select the text and click the Home tab. The Font option appears and from
the Font, an option has to select the Times New Roman and Font size 18 from the drop-down
menu, and then select the bold option to make it bold.

c. Add a fill colour of Orange, Accent 2, and 25% for cell A1.

For filling colour, has to select the cell and click right mouse button, a popup menu appears and
from the menu format cell, an option must be chosen. There is a fill option and has to select
orange Accent 2, 25% to fill the cell.

d. Merge and centre the range A1: E1.

Select the cells from A1 to E1, then click on the Home tab, and select Merge and Centre cell
option.

e. Change the width of Column A to 20.00, Column B: E to 15.

Select the column A by left-clicking and then by right-clicking a popup menu appears and from
the popup menu, the cell width option has to be selected and then width 20 has to be selected.

f. Freeze the headers so when you scroll down the headers are always visible

The Headers must be selected and from the Home tab, the view option has to be selected and
there the freeze option must be chosen to freeze the headers (Five Minute Lessons, 2020).
