● Laptop with Cisco AnyConnect VPN and the following Video capable endpoints premise dev ices if not using Jabber)
(If demonstrating with devices):
o One Cisco Webex DX/SX/Board/Room 55/77/Room Kit
(Room dev ice)
o Two Cisco IP Phone 7800 or 8800 series

NOTE: A Router is recommended to register physical endpoints to Unified CM as your on-premise devices, instead of using
Jabber on the w orkstations. It can also connect to Unified CM to upgrade endpoints to firmw are that supports registering to Cisco
Webex. If endpoints have the correct firmw are and are registered to Webex, then an endpoint router is not required, just a
connection to the internet for each device.

About This Solution

Cisco Webex Teams Overview
Cisco Webex is an app-centric cloud-based service that provides a complete collaboration suite for teams to create, meet,
message, call, w hiteboard, and share, regardless of w hether they’re together or apart; in one continuous w orkstream before,
during, and after meetings. It is built to make teams w ork seamlessly. It is a simple, secure, complete, and open service that
enables people to w ork better.

Communication needs to be agile, mobile, and collaborative – all thanks to mobile devices and evolving innovations in
infrastructure and applications. The Cisco Webex service makes instant communications and live meetings possible through a
deeply integrated set of industry-leading communications tools for an unmatched collaboration experience—that only the Cisco®
cloud can deliver.

Accelerate teamwork with these tools

Messaging and content sharing: Use teams and spaces to easily bring people together. Send messages, meet, share files,
w hiteboard. Spend less time chasing email and instant messaging, more time getting w ork done.

Team -based m eetings: Maximize productivity. Anyone in a space can schedule, start, and record meetings. Quickly include
guests and support up to 75 video users. Keep w ork moving after the meeting in the connected w orkspace.

Whiteboarding: Collaborate on sketches in the app. Or take Cisco Webex Teams capabilities to the next level w ith Cisco Webex
Board’s all-in-one w ireless presentation, digital w hiteboarding, and video conferencing.

Calling: Handle calls w here you w ant—in the app, on an IP phone, or a conference-room video device. Deploy in the cloud w ith
Cisco Webex Calling or connect to on-premises or partner-hosted telephony services.

Cisco Webex Hybrid Services

Increase the benefits of your on-prem unified communications and collaboration investment w ith Cisco Webex Hybrid Services.
They simplify connecting your existing netw ork resources and on-premises unified communications services to the Cisco Webex
Teams platform in the cloud. This provides even greater collaboration capabilities, along w ith consistent, unified user and
administrator experiences.

More and more, organizations are choosing collaboration services from the cloud. Why? Cloud services:

 Are easier and faster to deploy

 Don't require the upfront capital investment of on-premises systems

 Can free up IT staff to focus on other priorities

Many organizations, how ever, are unable or unw illing to move all their services to the cloud. Often, they are not ready to re place
everything they have on premises, or they simply w ant to augment their current collaboration tools w ith those from the cloud. But
having tools from both the cloud and the premises can create inconsistent, disjointed user experiences and tools that don't w ork
together as one.

Cisco dCloud

Cisco solves this problem w ith Cisco Webex Hybrid Services. These services connect w hat you have on premises w ith Cisco
Webex Teams in the cloud to provide a single integrated experience. If you like the capabilities of Webex Teams, you can inte grate
those capabilities w ith w hat you currently deploy for an even better end-user and administrator experience.

Available Hybrid Services

Hybrid Call Service: This service is ideal for organizations that w ant the capabilities of Cisco Webex Teams and Webex Meetings
but already have or w ould prefer to use Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Business Edition 6000 or 7000, or a Cisco
Pow ered™ cloud service from a certified Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution partner for call control. Hybrid Call Service can
enable you to use the Cisco call control you have and integrate it so tightly w ith Cisco Webex Teams and Cisco Webex Meetings
that your end users w ill never know they are not a single service. It makes the Cisco Webex aw are of all calls across the unified
communications system and connects them so they w ork together. Capabilities include instant desktop sharing, using the Cisco
Webex Teams app as a mobile client, integration of Cisco video devices w ith your dial plan, and an integrated call history in the
Cisco Webex Teams app.

Hybrid Calendar Service: This service integrates your on-premises Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, or Google Calendar w ith
Cisco Webex Teams and Cisco Webex Meetings capabilities. Hybrid Calendar Service easily and automatically create s a Cisco
Webex Teams w orkspace w hen scheduling meetings. For example, adding the phrase "@spark" to the meeting invitation’s
location field w ill automatically create a Cisco Webex Teams w orkspace and populate the meeting join information in the meeting
invitation. If no w orkspace is needed, adding the phrase “@w ebex” to the invite’s location field automatically populates the me eting
join information. Hybrid Calendar Service also allow s Cisco Webex users to press a single button to join almost any upcoming
meeting w ithin the app itself and on a video device.

Hybrid Directory Service: This service connects Active Directory to Cisco Webex Teams and enables a user to see all company
contacts in the Cisco Webex Teams app so that they can click to meet, message, or call. It also provides user synchronization
betw een Microsoft Active Directory and Cisco Webex user management. Hybrid Directory Service simplifies the administrative
experience by automatically synchronizing Microsoft Active Directory users w ith Cisco Webex (creating, updating, deleting) so that
users are alw ays current in Cisco Webex Teams.

Cisco Webex Video Mesh: This revolutionary capability removes the deployment decision of premises versus cloud for Cisco
Webex video meetings. It places our Cisco Webex meeting engine on-premises to provide local media processing. The result is
on-premises video quality and optimized Internet bandw idth. And it delivers this w ith simplicity, flexibility, and rapid iteration of new
functionality of the cloud.

Hybrid Data Security Service : Ideal for security-conscious customers, Cisco Hybrid Data Security Service takes our industry -
defining data security a step further by allow ing customers to ow n and manage their ow n keys on premises. You w ill still
experience end-to-end encryption, helping ensure that all messages, files, and w hiteboards remain secure and available at all
times, w hile retaining full access to features such as search. With Cisco Webex Teams, your data is private. This includes all
content, messages, and files—even your w hiteboard draw ings.

We strongly recommend that you go through this process at least once, before presenting in front of a live audience. This w ill
allow you to become familiar w ith the structure of the document and the demonstration.

PREPARATION IS KEY TO A SUCCESSFUL CUSTOMER PRESENTATION.

Follow the steps below to schedule your demonstration and configure your demonstration environment.

1. Initiate your dCloud session. [Show Me How ]

NOTE: It may take up to 45 m inutes for your session to becom e active. How ever, before using the session, verify an email w ith
the subject line of THE WEBEX DEMO SETUP IS COMPLETE is in Charles Holland’s email account. This w ill ensure all cloud
services setup scripts have run.

2. Click View to open the active session.

3. Install and access Cisco AnyConnect on your laptop, using the AnyConnect credentials in the dCloud UI. [Show Me How ]

4. Connect your router and laptop. [Show Me How ]

5. If you are connected to the demonstration from behind a router, please continue to the next step. If you are connecting directly
to the session from a stand-alone laptop or other device, install and access Cisco AnyConnect on your laptop, using the
AnyConnect credentials in the Cisco dCloud UI. [Show Me How ]

be found at Demo Cloud
https://w ww.microsoft.com/en-us/dow nload/details.aspx?id=44989.

 Mac Users: Microsoft Rem ote Desktop (MRD) [ ] or CoRD [ ] applications are recommended to connect to the
virtual machines. MRD can be dow nloaded for free from the Mac App Store. CoRD can be dow nloaded free at
http://cord.sourceforge.net/. Each application gives you the capability to save the connections for each virtual machine.

6. The demonstration requires your 7800/8800 phones to have Phone OS v11.0.1+. If in a proctored environment, your proctor
should have installed the correct firmw are on your phone. Use http://upgrade.cisco.com/ to help in the upgrade process.

7. The room device w ill also require vCE8.1+ firmw are. If you need to update the room device, you can dow nload the .pkg file
from cisco.com and upgrade the device directly. Use http://upgrade.cisco.com/ to help in the upgrade process.

8. After confirming the devices have the correct firmw are, perform a factory reset on each device before starting.

9. For best results, use either the Firefox or Chrome w eb brow sers.

10. This demonstration uses Cisco Jabber to show Cisco Webex hybrid services. You can also attach a dCloud router and self -
provision any physical phone to demonstrate hybrid services.

11. Each user’s passw ord is set to dCloud123! using an in-demo script at startup. Certain issues may arise, causing the email to
not be sent to a user. If this is the case, then these users w ill have to manually reset their passw ord. This is show n in
Appendix A. Optionally, you can setup Single Sign-on (SSO) if you do not w ant to use Webex’s basic authentication. The
procedures to enable SSO are show n in Appendix B.

12. In order to run this demonstration, you w ill need the Collaboration Edge domain information from the Session Details tab on
your dCloud session page. Each session has a unique domain. The image below is only an example. Do not use the
information in the image for your session. Take note of this information now , so you can refer to it throughout the guide. Note
that in dCloud there are tw o domain formats that could be used: collabedge-XXX.dc-YY.com or cbXXX.dc-YY.com .

Scenario 4: Hybrid Services: Calendar Service

In this scenario, you w ill demonstrate the Webex Calendar Service. Calendar Service connects to Microsoft Exchange and WebEx,
dCloud: The Cisco Demo Cloud
via the Calendar Connector, and allow s you to create a Webex Teams space and/or a WebEx meeting w ith all meeting invitees by
adding “@spark” or “@w ebex” to a meeting invite.

Integrate Microsoft Exchange w ith Cisco Webex

Simplify meeting scheduling, even from mobile devices, w ith Cisco Webex Calendar Service.

As w orkers become more dependent on mobile technology, many w ant to use their mobile phones to schedule meetings.
Unfortunately, built-in mobile calendar applications do not allow plugins. Consequently, w hen inviting meeting par ticipants from a
mobile app, there is no easy w ay to send them information on how to join a Cisco Webex meeting.

At the same time, using Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) is difficult and forces people to manually copy and paste the join ing
information into OWA. This problem is so significant, many people do not even try. They w ait until they get to the office, or use their
laptops to schedule meetings.

Schedule, Start Meetings from Any Device

Cisco Webex Hybrid Calendar Service overcomes these issues. It makes it easy for you to schedule meetings and create Cisco
Webex Teams rooms automatically, from any device, no matter w here you are.

For users w ith Cisco Webex basic meeting capabilities, adding @spark to a Microsoft Outlook invitation location field automatically
creates a Cisco Webex room for the invitees. The team can begin the conversation and share documents and ideas before the
meeting even starts.

In addition, those w ith a Cisco Webex advanced meeting subscription can add @w ebex to the location field of an Outlook
invitation. This automatically populates the body of the invitation w ith the information on how to join the Cisco WebEx meeting. And
by adding @spark and @w ebex to the location field, you can achieve both results noted above.

Cisco Webex Hybrid Calendar service gives you all these capabilities w ithout requiring plugins or manual copying and pasting of
the joining information. By simply adding this text to a meeting invitation, you can schedule meetings from anyw here on any device,
including OWA and any mobile device that supports Microsoft Exchange.

How Cisco Webex Hybrid Calendar Service Works

The Hybrid Calendar service can be deployed on its ow n or together w ith any of the other Cis co Webex Hybrid Services. To
facilitate these services, a softw are application or connector must be deployed and run on your premises or in the Cisco Hosted
Collaboration Solution partner cloud. The Hybrid Calendar Service connector requires Cisco Expressw ay.

There are no incremental subscriptions or fees for deploying this or any of the Cisco Webex Hybrid Services. The Hybrid Service
Connectors and Cisco Expressw ay are dow nloadable free of charge. They are part of the Cisco Unified Communications licensing
schemes and the Cisco Webex service.

Scenario 5: Hybrid Services: Call Service for Devices

Call Service Connect is a hybrid service that connects the Cisco Webex Control Hub and your enterprise phone system so that
dCloud: The Cisco Demo Cloud
they behave as one. By extending your on-premises call control to the cloud, Webex cloud devices can make and receive calls
using.

Your organization's call activity continues as usual, but extends to the cloud through the Expressw ay E and C pair. That is how
users can receive/make PSTN calls from Webex devices.

Call Service Connect requires an Expressw ay pair for SIP calls, w hich can be an existing pair already in place for B2B or MRA
deployments.

The key pieces of this feature are:

 Mutual TLS: For Call Service Connect, your Expressw ay-E server must establish a mutual TLS relationship w ith the Cisco
Webex Control Hub. This security allow s both the cloud and your enterprise to identify each other. Trusted root certificates
must be installed on both sides.

 Webex-RD (Rem ote Device)(Still Spark-RD at the tim e of w riting this guide): This device is attached to a user's w ork
number. It links a user's Cisco Webex account SIP identity to the enterprise SIP identity. From a technical standpoint, the
Webex-RD masks outbound calls from Cisco Webex w ith a user's w ork number. Incoming calls ring both the user's Cisco
Webex Teams app and desk phone.

This feature builds upon Call Service Aw are, w hich complements enterprise calls w ith instant content sharing, convenient access
to your call history, and the option to redial callers from anyw here. Call Service Aw are supports and is a prerequisite for Call
Service Connect.

The follow ing points provide a functional overview of the feature:

 Hybrid Call Services for Cisco Webex Devices w ill create and use a Cisco Webex Remote Device (Cisco Webex -RD) in
on-premises Unified CM to route calls to enterprise extensions, users, and PSTN.

 Features from on-premises phones (such as hold, transfer, and conference) can include the Cisco Webex device.

 Any calls from Places to PSTN or on-premises extensions are anchored to the Cisco Webex -RD in Unified CM.

The Cisco Webex Board: All-in-one Device for Team Collaboration
dCloud: The Cisco Demo Cloud
With the Cisco Webex Board, you can w irelessly present, w hiteboard, video or audio conference, and even annotate shared
content. It has everything you need for team collaboration at the touch of a finger. Use the Cisco Webex Teams app to connect
w ith virtual team members through the devices of their choice.

Key features of the Cisco Webex Board include:

 Designed w ith you in m ind: Enjoy an easy-to-use, touch-based, high-quality collaboration experience. Cisco Webex Board
integrates the most common tools needed for team collaboration in a physical meeting rooms into a single elegant device.

 Connect virtual team s through the app: You can store everything you create on the Webex Board in the cloud and
associate it w ith a virtual room. Team members can use the Cisco Webex Teams app to pick up w here they left off in the
physical room and continue w orking anyw here.

 Intelligently anticipates your needs : The Webex Board automatically w akes up w hen you enter the room. It detects your
Webex Teams app-supported device and suggests an activity, such as call, w hiteboard, or w irelessly share your
presentation.

 Technology for natural experiences: A pow erful 4K camera captures a high-resolution, w ide-angle image of nearly the
entire room. A 12-microphone array delivers crisp, clear audio, automatically amplifying and modulating voices so that all
meeting participants sound great.

In this scenario, you can use a Cisco Webex Board w ith any demo user. The Webex Board you are using is most likely connected
to the Cisco Webex service. If not, add the Webex Board as you w ould any other room device, w hich w as show n earlier in
Scenario 2. The Webex Board DOES NOT have to be connected to the same Webex organization you configured during this
demo.

With the eDiscovery search and extraction tool, you can access unlimited data to search and retrieve information w ithin Cisco
Webex Teams spaces. Use email addresses, space IDs, keyw ords, and specific time limits to narrow the search.

As a compliance officer, you can use Cisco Webex Control Hub to search through any conversation in the Cisco Webex Teams
app. You can look for a specific person in your company, find any content they have shared, and then generate a report of your
findings. You can also look through a specific space for information.

Visit https://collaborationhelp.cisco.com/article/en-us/DOC-21569 to view more information about eDiscovery, including information

about the compliance officer role and the reports provided.

Security – PIN lock enforcem ent - To ensure that content is secure in the Cisco Webex Teams app, you can set up a PIN lock.
After a PIN lock has been enabled, people can only use Cisco Webex Teams on mobiles w ith PINs or lock screens.

Security – File Share Controls - You can control how people share files in Cisco Webex. If you w ant to prevent data loss,
eliminate malw are concerns, and apply policy controls on specific Cisco Webex Teams apps, you can restrict users from
dow nloading, preview ing and uploading files to the Cisco Webex Teams apps.

Security – Revoke access - When people lose their mobile phone, or somebody leaves your organization, you can remotely
