MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN MARION COUNTY CLERK, ‘AND MARION COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE, ‘This agreement is between the MARION COUNTY CLERKJELECTIONS (hereinafter“MCE") and the MARION COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE (hereintfter "MCSO"). ‘Bot partes agree to the following: 1, MCSO shall provide law enforcement presence on October 26,2020 through November 5,2020 as requested by MCE 2. MCSO will provide one (1) Deputy fiom the hous of 0830 to 1700 on Monday October 26, 2020 through Friday, October 30, 2020, then 0900 to 1500 on Saturday, October 31, 2020 then 0830 to 1700 ‘on November 2,2020 then one deputy from 0700 to 2030 and another from 1700 to 100 on Election Day. This is outside of a Deputies typical work schedule and is considered to be overtime, Overtime ‘hours will be billed a arate in a range from $61.14 t $113.29 per hou. 3, During the performance of this Agreement, the Deputy will be on foot patrol both outside and inside Courthouse Square and the Cleri/Election’s office and willbe present to assist withthe “end of voting” time as directed by Bill Burgess or his designee 4, MCE agrees that Sgt. Todd Moquin will have the authority to increase the numberof deputies, if conditions warrant. Any increase in deputies will follow consultation with MCE representative except in an emergency situation ‘5. MCSO shall submit an invoice to MCE no later than December 15,2020 and MCE shall reimburse MCSO through the “Journal Enty" proces.
