WEEK 3&4:
Creates a print by pressing your fingers or palm or any of the body
and pressing it to the paper, cloth, wall, etc. to create impression

You may repeat your design several times on the paper. Exhibit your work
in class. Be creative.

WEEK 5:
Creates a print by rubbing or crayon on paper placed on top of a textured
objects from nature and found objects.

Activity 5: Let Us Print!

Cover a coin or any rough object with a piece of bond paper. Rub a
pencil against the paper on the part covering the object. What image do
you see? You may also try using a big leaf instead of paper.Choose one
example below to copy.

WEEK 6:

Stencil a design (in recycled paper, plastic,cardboard,leaves, and other


materials) and prints on paper, cloth, sinamay, bark or wall

Parts of the Plants for Printing


Activity 1:

Materials:
gabi stalk, banana stalk, calamansi, or okra
painting materials such as dye, watercolor, or ink cotton or
sponge
paper

Procedure:
1. Put a color on the sponge or cotton. Place it on a plate.
2. Cut the okra, calamansi, banana, or gabi stalk crosswise.
3. Press the stalk on the sponge or cotton with color. Observe the
natural design in this part of the vegetable or fruit.
4. Press it on a clean sheet of paper.
5. Repeat procedures until you have formed an interesting design.( You
can use two or three kinds of plant or vegetable parts for printing.)

WEEK 3:

Selects 3D objects that are well proportioned, balanced and show


emphasis in design

Activity 3: 3D Sheep
In a short bond paper, create a 3D sheep. You will be given a piece of
paper and some cotton balls. Glue the cotton balls on to the piece of paper.
To make a sheep, draw the feet and head.

WEEK 4&5:

Creates useful 3D objects that are well proportioned, balanced and


show emphasis in design

Activity 1:

With the assistance of your parents, create a useful 3D object: a pencil


holder, bowl, container using recycled materials like plastic bottles.

Materials:

Glue, scissors, cardboard or papers, colored papers,


coloring materials.

Procedures:
1. Cut the recycled plastic bottled
2. Using glue, paste it on a cardboard
3. Put any coloring materials
4. Let it dry

WEEK 6&7:
Construct a mask out of a cardboard, glue, found materials, ,bilao, ,
paper plate, string, seeds and other found materials for a celebration like
Maskara Festival of Bacolod

Activity 5:

Materials: Crayons, oil pastels, marker pen, watercolor, short folder, pair
of scissors, cutter, two pieces of rubber band.

Take note: Ask guidance from your parents or guardians.

Procedures:
1. Put the folder horizontally across the face and mark the places for the
eyes, the nose and the lips.
2. Cut out a hole on each mark.
3. Color or paint the mask with any coloring materials.
4. Cut two small holes in line with the ears.
5. Use a rubber band for tying.

WEEK 8:

Creates mobiles out of recycled materials such as cardboards,


papers, baskets, leaves, strings and other found materials

Activity 1:
Creating Mobiles

Materials:
 old hanger
 yarn or string
 scissors
 scrap materials

Procedures:
1. Prepare all the materials.Look for four identical objects and one
unusual object that you want to hang.
2. Cut five pieces of yarn of different lengths.
3. Tie one end of each yarn to an object.
4. Tie the other end of each yarn to the hanger. Place the unusual
object at the center.
