Abstract

This study was conducted to know the students’ levels of satisfaction on the lunch food
in the canteen specifically, in terms of their health values, cleanliness, portion of the
food, affordability of the price and food taste. Furthermore, this study aims to know what
factor are they most satisfied and least satisfied when buying lunch food from the
canteen. A total of one- hundred ninety random SHS students was given a
questionnaire each that is consist of ten questions. By answering the questionnaire, the
researchers made five factors of the canteen services: health values, cleanliness,
portion of the food, price of the food and taste. Which the students are going to rate
their answer by rating it as very satisfied, satisfied, dissatisfied and very dissatisfied.
Findings show that most of students are not satisfied with the health value , portion and
price of the lunch food. Therefore, these three factors affect most the satisfaction of the
students. While most of students are satisfied with the cleanliness and taste of the food,
means these two factors least affects the satisfaction of the students. Nonetheless, this
study concludes that the canteen is recommended to improve the nutrition of the food
they serve everyday , something that is advisable to lessen harm on the students or
customers health. The canteen is also advisable to lessen the price of the food into
student - friendly price and is proportional to it.
