NARRATIVE REPORT ON LAC SESSION IN ONLINE ORIENTATION ON LEARNING
DELIVERY MODALITIES COURSE
As an educational institution, Amadeo National High School conducted the Online
Orientation on Learning Delivery Modalities Course for Teachers on September 4, 2020, which supports the DO 35, S. 2016 – The Learning Action Cell As A K To 12 Basic Education Program School-Based Continuing Professional Development Strategy For The Improvement Of Teaching. In line with this, the meeting was organized and headed by Mr. Andee Espineli, the TLE Head Teacher, and Mrs. Jocelyn Espineli, The Grade 9 Chairperson.The LDM2 Online Orientation is intended for teachers and is focused on the instructional implications of using these alternative LDMs to show that AmaNaHis fully supports DepEd’s advocacy in continuing the professional development of its teaching personnel based on the principle of lifelong learning and DepEd’s commitment to the development of teachers potential aimed towards their success in the profession. The meeting was organized for the 29 teachers of Group 2 and Group 4 from Junior High School Department. The session started at exactly 9:00 in the morning. It began with the roll call of attendees done by the Facilitator of Group 6, Mrs. Merle L. Rojales, and Group 4 Facilitator, Mrs. Luz R. Bayot. It is to make sure that everyone is on the call. Then, it was graced by a prayer led by Mrs. Liza Villa followed by the assigning of Documenters for the LAC session. Mrs. Hariette Mae M. Santillan of Group 4 and Ms. Eifel Angela B. Gante of Group 6 were assigned for the documentation. During the orientation, Mr. Andee Espineli discussed the LDM2 Modules. These are Module 1: Course Overview, Module 2: Most Essential Learning Competencies, Module 3A: Lesson Design and Assessment in the Modalities, Module 3B: Learning Resources, Module 4: Planning and Continuing Professional Development and LAC Planning, and Module 5: Building the Teaching Portfolio Related to the Implementation of the Modalities. In addition, the T.L.E Head Teacher discussed each module’s objectives, content, activities for each lesson, and the expected output for each module. After the presentation, the participants also got the opportunity to raise some questions or clarification. The LAC session in Online Orientation On Learning Delivery Modalities Course for Teachers ended with the commitment of each teacher to GROW. EMPOWER. TRANSFORM .
